This is our very first picture together! We met at the gym through a mutual friend and got even closer through a love for the Cowboys, a great group of friends, and country music! We lived in the same dorm building and had lots of time to hangout!

We were friends for about 3 years before either one of us said anything about romantic feelings. We had many games nights, watched the bachelor and haunting of hill house, and even celebrated a few birthdays!

We graduated from CNU during covid so we had an outdoor ceremony which allowed us to be more flexible and spend more of this day together. Connor had plans to do his master's degree at NC State, while Jess planned to get her patient hours to go to PA school at Shenandoah University.

This is a picture from our first date! We went to a pirate themed mini golf place! You'll never guess who won?!? It wasn't Jess. Now we've taken our clubs to the course and we're in the process of teaching Jess how to play real golf. This was the start to our shared loved of trying new activities together and turning them into fun dates.

Connor moves to Raleigh! Despite being long-distance, we never felt far apart between all the visiting and online dates. This also gave us an opportunity to truly embrace a new city, such as going to Canes games, NC state games, trying many local food spots, and spending late nights on Glenwood.

Connor graduates from NC State. Go Wolfpack! He graduated with his Master's in Computer Science... and even better, this ends our 2-year stretch of long-distance dating!

June 2023 was the start of us finally living together. We packed all his things into a UHaul from Raleigh, stopped in Richmond to pack my things, and brought it all to Winchester. We had a nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath.. our favorite part? the fireplace.

Jess gets her white coat, starting off her long journey of PA school. From long nights of studying to working night shifts, we made it work. Connor cooked dinners and cheered her on the entire way. We could not be more proud of her accomplishments in wrapping up her degree and all the work she has put into it!

Our first apple blossom! While PA school was very difficult, we were fortunate enough to meet some great people that we quickly became very close to. We are so thankful to have learned and been a part of Winchester traditions like this one! We will definitely be coming back to celebrate.

We took a trip to Cancun, Mexico and took the 3 hour bus ride to Chichen Itza! The first of the new seven wonders.. many more to come! We hope to spend the years coming, embracing our love for exploration. Any recommendations for future trips are welcome :)

This is the weekend we got engaged! Connor planned a beautiful trip at the Homestead in Hot Springs, VA. We soaked in the hot springs, had a full massage and spa day, spent time outside doing a hay ride in the mountains and hiking! We couldn't have asked for a better weekend to celebrate our love. Next on the bucket list is visiting during Christmas!

Commanders vs Cowboys, our fav! Go Cowboys! We love watching football on Sundays, making chili and opening the windows. You can place your bets now, what will our future dogs name be? (p.s. this is our year!!)

2025 has been a busy year! Jess has been in clinicals and we've spent a lot of time traveling (in-state). We are planning a move back to Richmond, Jess is graduating, plus planning a wedding! No worries, there is lots more to come :)
