Our Story

Jess + Riley

Jess and Riley met in the classic style-on the internet! After a three hour long first date, Riley did not kiss Jess... but he did ask her immediately on another. Our love story is filled with coast-to-coast road trips, shared playlists, reading books out-loud and cuddling on the couch with Cake. It is a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. And we are so lucky that you are a part of it!

Travel

For our loved ones coming from out of state:

Fly into Denver International Airport; from there you could rent a car or get a rideshare. The best places to stay will be the areas surrounding Lyons: Longmont, Boulder and Hygiene. There are airBNB options in Lyons, but it is a small town! (If you are planning on spending the entire weekend with us, stay in Boulder or split your time- ask Jess!)

For our Colorado dwellers:

There is plenty of parking at the venue, so carpooling isn't necessary unless you want to! Lyons is about an hour and some change north of Denver, just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park. You are also welcome to join in wedding weekend festivities if you want!

Things to Do

Since the wedding is taking place during a long holiday weekend, we hope you will join us for some Colorado fun! We will be planning some events to enjoy together. There will be an option on the RSVP to let us know when you're planning to arrive. As we come up with events, we will add them here!

Q+A

What do I wear?

We want you to feel your best and most comfortable, that being said- the vibe is mountain disco. Jess would be so excited if everyone embraced their colorful side! The venue is a functioning flower farm, and the ceremony will be outside so leave the stilettos at home, and ties are definitely optional.

What is the weather going to be like?

Colorado can be unpredictable. The venue will be prepared for rain, but in early September it will most likely be hot and sunny and cool off at night! So be prepared for it all when packing! If you are planning to spend the whole weekend, we would recommend a water bottle and sturdy shoes!

Can I bring my children?

Yes! We love you and the families you have created, your kids are welcome and they should be factored into your RSVP.

What else should I know?

If this is your first time at a mile high, there are a few things to consider: make sure you are well hydrated, bring a water bottle, drink electrolytes, wear sunscreen! And if you are drinking alcohol, proceed with caution. Other packing items to consider, a bathing suit, a hat, and sunglasses!
