The night lights shone throughout Buffalo on a brisk October the 13th night, but none brighter than the glimmer in the&nbsp;small bar where they were to meet. Buffalo was about to be home to the most infamous love story of our time. He saw her wearing all black; she was occupied but none-the-less ready to meet the love of her life. The night can be described as one that made time standstill. They were instantly lost in conversation and, little did they know, they began writing their story.&nbsp; If this were a book, the next few would be blank followed by a "..four months later." The star crossed lovers would rendezvous unbeknownst to them in a local bar in a small town called Brockport. Ben was still learning his courting skills and tested the waters by swiftly kicking the back of Jess' shin with great agility and strength&nbsp;to which she responded "ouch." She quickly turned around to see it was him, happier now yet also confused at his odd&nbsp;social skills but&nbsp;they instantly picked up where they left off before. They gazed into the eyes of each other knowing what they have known for many lifetimes...their soulmate was standing beside them. Neither wanted to test that night's fate; what's to be will be. They parted ways with a smile,&nbsp;knowing that if true love were to exist, they would see each other again.&nbsp; Less than a month would pass before entwining paths. This time the look of shocked delight would strike them as they gazed into each other's eyes on St. Patties day. Little did they know that both of them had the same deep desire to be in the other's arms and to be told I love you without question or fail. Fate would have it that by the end of the evening, true love's first kiss would ignite their flame into a wildfire.&nbsp; You see, to any old reader, this may sound like a typical love story with an easily established start. However, for Jess and Ben, they had failed to grasp that their paths were&nbsp;entwined their whole lives. From unknowingly growing up close together to hitting up the same social hot spots, entirely unaware, they were following each other's staggered footprints. The universe had teased them for years, sending them to places that they’d both go to, unfortunately on a varying timeline until they came together on March 17th, 2018. You came here to read the love story of Jess Page and Benjamin Brightly. But, before we start, you need to know the story of Jess Page and Ben Brightly before meeting. You see, before either Ben or Jess were even a thought in their parents minds, their mothers had gone to school together. They enjoyed the 70’s and lived life to push as much happiness from it as possible. Years later, Ben and Jess would enter this world. It would take a few years but they would spend their youth only a few miles from one another. They would experience similar adolescent fun times of riding four-wheelers and partying in cornfields. Learning what they wanted in life and what they enjoyed; Both blessed by being surrounded by those that love them. Time would propel forward into their college years, where both were conflicted with deciding what they wanted to do in this world. Jess would find herself at college at Brockport, which the gods of fate would laugh as Ben found himself there as well for a time. They would both realize Brockport was only a placeholder and move on to the next chapter of their lives. On paper, this would appear to drive their story further apart; however, this only brought them closer. Jess would decide to go to Buffalo State where Ben would start his career in foreclosure at CRFS. Time would whip by, and Ben would realize a change was needed that would have him seeking new employment, all the while the young, beautiful, Jess Page was furthering her academia. During his employment, Ben would be invited to (you guessed it)&nbsp;Buffalo to spend time with old high school friends. On one fateful night, Ben decided to journey to the city of lights for a night out. Little did he know on his night&nbsp;out he would be meeting a woman that would change his life forever, I would even say she redefined his idea of life itself. October 13th, 2017, is where the meat of our story begins. You had to hear everything before to appreciate the interaction of this night. Ben would go to a bar to hang out with an old high school friend. Jess would go to this bar to hang out with strikingly similar friends, actually precisely similar. Jess had become friends with Ben’s longtime childhood friend who (thank god almighty) invited him and her out that night.&nbsp; They entered the bar, and from the moment Ben laid eyes on Jess it was over. He was star struck. No words. Pretty much the only noise he could make was that of a blender. I know, pretty ridiculous. Somehow, Jess understood his blabbering words and took an interest to interact with him. They spoke for a while, enjoying every bit of each other's company, but the night drew to a close, and they went home with light feet. Here is where it would appear the story came to a close when it just took a break to set things in motion. Jess and Ben would rendezvous on St Patties’s day. This is where the story starts to hint fate, you see, neither had any intention of going. Ben wanted to sleep all day in bed, and Jess was invited last minute. They ended up going, and when the door opened, they were without words. They laughed and teased one another for being there, making sure to get photo evidence of the existence of the other because who knew when then next time would be. The day would progress, but you wouldn’t find Jess without Ben or Ben without Jess. They had&nbsp;realized what they saw in one another. It was as if they jumped back through time to being kids; Unsure of themselves, beaming with nerves and excitement. They joked all day and teased one another, but the night was drawing to a close. An act of intent was needed. Ben found the courage to let Jess know his intent. As night drew to a close, Ben leaned in for a kiss, but not just any kiss, he leaned in for his last first kiss and Jess responded with fireworks in her eyes and heart. Now you know when the flame&nbsp;was ignited, but to know Ben and Jess, you have to read further. They are not a couple that could be defined by a single event. They are a continuous series of events that will continue to map their love story. A love story with no end, just another chapter. My question to you is: Are you ready to turn the page to a new chapter in their story, a Brightly beginning?
