Can I bring my kids?
Yes! Please do! (Or leave them home and have a night for yourself-- your choice).
What should I wear?
Festive casual! No need for sports coats or stilettos. Wear something you'll be comfortable walking around a farm in and works for picnic tables.
What's for dinner?
Barbecue! We're thinking of having chicken (probably caribbean jerk), pulled pork, mac n cheese, and vegetarian baked beans.
I have dietary restrictions - what should I do?
Our wedding venue allows for outside food and drink to be brought in. If you have special dietary needs or kids who are picky eaters, please feel free to BRING WHATEVER YOU LIKE! If you bring a cooler, just make sure you put your name on it so it makes it home with you.
Will there will be alcohol? Is it BYOB?
We plan to have one type of beer and some wine (one white, one red and a bubbly). If you have drinks you prefer, please don't hesitate to bring them! Again, coolers are welcome.
Will there be chairs with back support?
No. We do not have seats with back support at either our ceremony or reception . If you would like a chair with back support, please consider bringing a camping chair with you, or reach out to Jess and Mike and we'll try to arrange a more comfortable chair for you!
Do you have a wedding registry?
Thanks for asking, but no, there's nothing we need. We are just delighted to spend our day with you!
If you would like to make a donation to be split between our children's college funds (with perhaps a little $ going to a travel fund), feel free to do so however is easiest for you.
Jess's venmo is @jessica-probst-3
Do you have a block at a nearby Hotel?
Yes! See our Travel page for information. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the wedding location and you can book one or both nights.
