That's all she had to say. Those three words changed the trajectory of my life when I raced after her into our mutual friend's kitchen and breathlessly told her I liked her dress.

What's fun about soulmates is that the hands of your collective clock is wound entirely by the Universe. No, I didn't expect to meet my soulmate over a shot of Jameson in downtown Lafayette at a house party in 2013, and no, I didn't expect our first interaction would be learning about the design of a red lacy dress from White House Black Market (It had pockets! Neat!) And no, neither did we expect to lose each other and go separate ways for nearly eight years in between our unions.

But they say a broken clock is right twice a day, and our clock has been repaired and ticks on. After years of resisting fate, Jess and Katie are eagerly and excitedly embracing their destiny and becoming a lawfully wedded unit, team, and love written by the stars (or at least by some Irish whiskey and a pretty dress with pockets).
