Our Story

How We Met

Disclaimer… it wasn’t on this hike ;) I (Jeremy) was a part of a friend’s wedding party with John, Jess’ twin. The bachelor party found its way to the Weary house where my future WIFE was spending time with her parents. We barged in and I stopped in my tracks; who is this girl, I wondered, and how can I ask her to go out with me! Luckily God had a plan and, with the help of some excellent wingmen, we were set up shortly after and the rest is history! :)

Its Summer!

From paddle boarding to zoo dates, we soaked in all the summer memories and time together in the month we had before Jess headed off to PA school in Texas!

Making the most of time apart!

1 year of long distance with the sweetest FaceTime dates and game nights! We'll let you guess who won ;)

Time together!

We took frequent Colorado/Abilene visits. Enjoying the excitement of early dating and desiring to spend all the time we could in person with each other!!

Christmas in Colorado!

We enjoyed a break from school with some time on the slopes!

Pop the question??

WE GOT ENGAGED!! Jeremy planned the most intentional day with a scavenger hunt of all our favorite places and significant spots. All leading up to a beautiful mountain hike where he got down on one knee. All I could say was "Yay!"

Engagement day made possible with the help of the best hype, setup and photography crew! We love y'all!

Exciting Seasons

Thankful for the ways we have been able to love and support each other in the midst of big things! These include Jess finishing up PA school and graduating in December, Jeremy building a house, and in management training at the Hideaway, premarital counseling, local church involvement and eating lots of good food. We're excited to see how the Lord will use our callings together!

Family time

Squeezed in some good family time and pickle ball competitions! Ready for a rematch;)
