Through Felicia and Jesse's relationship they have spent quality time visiting Zoos, Farms, and any other place that has animals, both inside and outside the state of Connecticut.

During COVID 19 Felicia told Jesse about a farm owned by two K9 officers and they both immediately knew that they had to check it out. The first time they went to Guardians Farm they knew it was a special place, ran by special people, and Felicia told Jesse that it was the happiest that she had been in a very long time. They took it as a sign that if the couple that ran the farm could build the farm of their dreams, that Jesse and Felicia could too.

In late 2022, Jesse met with David from Guardians Farm and started discussing how Jesse would set up proposing to Felicia at their farm. In 2023, after Jesse had the ring, Felicia had decided for two weekends in a row to try to take Jesse to the farm. Jesse took it as sign that it was time to propose. So, the day after Jesse's birthday Felicia decided she was going to surprise him with breakfast and a trip to their favorite farm, and Jesse decided that he would surprise Felicia with an engagement ring while a calf looked on.
