Jessel and Andrew first met at the beginning of 2012 through a mutual friend. Andrew had just finished four years of service in the United States Air Force, and Jessel was at the beginning of her career as an educator working for the Los Angeles Unified School District. They instantly became good friends, shared many things in common, such as ethnicity, music, movies, & they learned they were both August babies born 4 years and 5 days apart, to be exact.

They shared many meaningful conversations during those years. Many heartfelt conversations about life, goals, and aspirations. They both began working on accomplishing those goals, and although their lives took very different paths, they always knew their friendship and love for one another were truly special.

They reconnected on Thanksgiving of 2016, and after so many years of friendship, they finally sat down and shared their true feelings for one another. I guess you can say it was the perfect place at the ideal time, and the rest is history.
