That night we met..

On August 24th, 2013 I went with my bff Jenny, and some friends to Barbary Coast to support Justin in his newly joined band: A Lily Gray. As soon as they started playing I made her come to the front of the stage to jam. These guys ROCKED. I took this
 picture, not knowing that this night would forever change the course of my life.
I remember noticing the singer was pretty cute, but I didn't think much into him besides that. Nate, Jenny and I went back to Jenny's house after they played. Justin talked David into coming over as well. That night we played card games, ordered pizza
 and I blew some minds with my magic tricks.
At one point in the night I had spilled a little pizza sauce and was cleaning it off the carpet, when David puts his backpack over the spill. From that moment on, I knew he was trouble.
6 AM came so fast, and I insisted leaving so I could make it to Harmon's when they opened. (I had to make a dip for Bethany's BBQ later that day). David threw a pillow at me, wanting me to stay. Believe me, I wanted to cuddle but I barely met&nbsp;this
 boy.

I added him on on Facebook as soon as I got home, and when I woke up I had a message from him, asking me if I made it to Harmon's. We have been texting every day since.

Our first date was exactly a week after we met [August 31, 2013]. He took me to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. We were both so giddy and nervous after texting nonstop all week. Neither one of us could focus on the menu, so we decided to share pizza
 and fish tacos. [I don't even like fish.]
We had a little time to kill before I had to work, so David grabbed my hand and we goofed around the mall for a little bit.
That night A Lily Gray played a show at Burt's Tiki Lounge. After the show we went back to his apartment and stayed up all night sitting Indian-style across from each other, just talking and feeling that intense energy between us.
Somebody might have dropped an L word, and Llamageddon began.

Making it "Facebook Official."

On Sunday, September 13, 2013-- just shy of three weeks after meeting, we went to brunch downtown; it was there he told me I must be "his." I was a little intimidated by jumping into a relationship so fast, but I could not deny this intense energy felt
 between us. I have never crushed on someone this hard before. I told him I would give it a shot.He said he wanted to make it "official, official," to which I replied: "What do you want me to do? Change my Facebook status??" He said: "YES! I want to shout it to the world."&amp; that ladies and gentlemen is when we became: "Facebook official."

Where to begin:)

The day began like any other. I had gone into work earlier that day, all the while concentrating and focusing my energy and excitement on the show A.L.G. was to play that night. ..Nothing could have prepared me for what was in store. As the sun set the
 band and I arrived at the show and started unloading our gear into the stage area. Justin tells me his fiance' is bringing her friend tonight and I think to myself, "cool.. I wonder what she's like," as I continue to go about unloading and setting
 up.
 
As we neared the time to go on, I walked towards the bar and see this total babe, in red hair and a Led Zeppelin t-shirt walking through the front entrance. I think to myself, "..Damn!! that's a nice shirt" I'll never forget how I could barely make eye
 contact with her.. my entire shyness made me quick to say, "Oh, hi.." and scurry off, like The panicked boy who just saw his schoolyard crush.Fast-forward that night:The show is over and Justin has since invited me over to his place for victory drinks. In my head I'm praying the girl I saw earlier will be there! A quick drive, park, walk through the front door and she is.. she's here!! What do I do?? Do I initiate
 a conversation, do I play it cool and boldly ignore? I don't know! I go with my instinct and say "what' up.."We order pizza, play games, and she whips out a deck of playing cards like some magical vixen! She asks me, "Do you want to see a magic trick?" "Well, hell yea I do," I answer. My mind is blown! Not only did this dream have aces for style, she friggin
 knows magic!!The pizza dude arrives and we dig in! The party moves into the kitchen, however Jessi and I remain in the main room talking about things you talk about when you first meet, you know ("where ya' froms, what you do's, where you been"). A dollop of pizza
 sauce spills on the floor and while she's busy cleaning up the mess, I pick up the nearest backpack and place it on top of the spill and say, "If you cant see it, its not there." She giggles and calls me, "trouble."Things quiet down and people begin to leave for home. "She can't go yet," I say to myself. "I don't even have her number!" We hang out on the couch and talk some more when she looks at the clock and says "Oh dang, I need to get going. I have a bbq I have
 to pick up food for." "A bbq?" I say, confused. "It's 6 in the morning, you should stay and sleep for a bit." My attempt fails and we say goodbye to one another. At this point Im totally bummed.. I didn't want her to leave. I didn't even get her number.Until... the next day when she messages me through Facebook! I couldn't believe it! I was more stoked than I've ever been. It was like my insides were floating high up in the clouds but my feet were still on the ground. Even now, over 2 years after we
 met, I can still quickly recall that feeling it's unlike anything I've ever experienced and it's all because of her.We talk for a while on Facebook then exchange numbers to text one another. I'm literally on cloud-nine 24 hours a day at this point, I can hardly contain myself. Every so often I tell myself to "relax" and "be brave". I just can't believe this is happening.
 A girl who I totally fell for, immediately, is actually into me.. what?? This sort of thing never happens to me!We have our first date at The Cheesecake Factory. I order pizza and she orders the fish tacos. I don't even remember eating because I couldn't take my eyes off of her. It was so surreal, like I had no control. Almost as if a higher power was piloting
 my body, and I was just along for the ride.Later that night we meet at my band's show, downtown. We play a killer set then load off. I stick around to watch the next band play and wait for Jessi to get back from a nearby bar where she went to hang with some of her girlfriends. Suni gives us a
 ride to my place in Murray. We sit down on my bedroom floor and talk through the night. Just discussing and feeling each other's energy. It was truly incredible to feel such a strong connection. Unlike anything I've ever encountered. "She is the one," I tell myself.

I met Justin around the year 2005. From the beginning, I was looking up to him like the older brother I never had. I admired his intelligence and the way his thought process worked. I often felt as though we communicated cryptically, and continue to do so:) We shared many common interests but none more dominant than our fine taste in quality music. Music was always such a huge part of my life, and remains one to this day. Not only do we continue to share in our friendship, we've been making our own music together since the year 2008! ;)

Justin Clark

Jenny and I have known each other since we were sunbeams. Although we weren't always each other's biggest fan in the beginning, we became family in Jr. High. This lady completes me, and understands me better than anyone I have ever met [well, besides David of course ;]. She is one the most non-judgmental, outgoing, and creative girls I know. Jenny has this magic power of turning my tears of sorrow into tears of laughter. She has seen me at my ugliest and yet manages to convince me I am beautiful. She's my PIC! I admire that this little lady sets such a high standard for herself, yet she'll be the one right next to me when we end up in a jail cell... I hold my Jenny so dear, and look up to her more than she will ever understand.

Jenny Clark

I met Dave back in Junior High School! He was one of the first true friends I made after transferring schools, and remains one of my best buds to this day. In our heyday we quite literally did it all! From hijacking an already "poorly" purchased mini-van in order to dominate the Brighton Bump, to playing in a high-school band. Together, we've shared in some of the most memorable moments, most fit for a movie! One of which includes the first time I picked up a microphone. If it wasn't for "Malmy," I would have never dared to pursue my passion for music, and I most certainly wouldn't have made any friends. lol:) 

Dave Malmrose

Cassiopeia C. Clarke has been my best friend since before we were born. Our mothers were best friends so we're basically sisters from different misters! We have grown up together--even when we have been miles apart. Although we don't talk as much as either one of us would like, when we do, it's like no time has passed. We just click!!I admire this beautiful soul so much. She has shown me that no matter what, you can work hard and get what you want. She is gorgeous, and I have always admired her confidence, as well as her ability to make friends with everyone. Cassi has shown me such strength in life, and I am so honored to call her one of my best friends. 

Cassi Clarke

I met Lauren when she started working with me at IMC about seven years ago. She has been there for me since I was kissing frogs, and was there when I found my Prince. She has set such a great example for me throughout the years, and has been my nursing school buddy for the last two of them. This lady is the life of any party, and will be the one to get you to push your limits.I admire her straight up honesty and her willingness to help me in any situation life brings. Lauren is always there at 3 am when I need to talk, and knows what coffee to bring me when 6 am hits. Plus, she is kinda cool too;) I am so flattered she is one of my best friends, and is willing to be one of my bridesmaids!

Lauren Shimensky

I may have met Geoff around the year 2005 but I wish I would have met him much sooner! His passion for life is both admirable and contagious! I wish I had as much enthusiasm for anything as much as he does for the world around him! Often times I will watch his snapchat or facebook feeds and find myself wondering what the heck I'm doing with my day! I'll never forget the time he picked me up from school in his Dodge Viper, "Chloe." I looked around at all my classmates at the time and was like, "Yea, this IS happening!" 

Geoff Lay

Holy crap, I can't believe I have known Carm over six years!!! We met through mutual friends back in 2010, and have shared the most unforgettable times ever.  She always dresses to impress and brings the excitement to anything-- wherever we may be. She is the first one to stick up for herself and her friends, which I freaking love about her. She has been there for me throughout thick and thin, and always manages to lift me up,  no matter what.Her strong spirit and courage throughout the years has been an inspiration for me. I look up to her confidence and the fact that she can be a bitch when needed and completely rule it. [shhh, I secretly want to steal her closet full of clothes too.] I love her guts out.

Carmen Cannon

This lady is one of the sweetest souls I have ever met. She is seriously so nice, so pretty, and so down for anything, at any time! Tara has the biggest heart, and is so chill with anyone and everyone. Her sincere kindness is something to be admired, not-to-mention she is one amazing and hot mama to top it off.Tara and I have been friends since 2012 and although our lives have kept us both pretty busy, I still consider her one of my besties. She is one of the most genuine people I have ever met, and I would trust her with anything. We have had some crazy adventures and I cherish every last one of them especially that one time in Vega$ ;). I'm so happy she is willing to be by my side on my biggest adventure yet. 

Tara Link

I met Brian in 2005! At the time he was shredding guitar in Milicent with (Justin and Geoff) and now rules the drum throne in our band, A.L.G. Not only is he multi talented, Brian is one of the most sincere friends a person could have. I always enjoy explaining to him about the most recent band or piece of music I've listened to. Brian will sit there patiently and 9/10 times respond with, "oh ya, I've heard those guys/that song. I have a few of their albums." One of these days I'll impress him with something!  

Brian Waite

Eric is one of the greatest guys I've had the pleasure of meeting in this life. We met back in 2005 in the same setting I met most of the other groomsmen. Eric has always been a "go-to" and loyal friend, with a willingness to do anything for the ones he loves! I'm a firm a believer that Eric  just might be the inventor of the timeless tradition of "work hard, play hard" because I've never known him to work less than two jobs yet always find the time to support his friends and out-party us all.

I cannot believe I dated David for over a year before I got to meet this gem! Samantha was in Norway serving an LDS mission when we started dating, and I only got to meet her on Skype at first. We even have mutual buddies!!As far as "Sister-in-Laws" go, I think I win the prize! This lady is as darling and talented as they come! She has so much energy, and is always laughing. I just adore the crap out of her. I'm so delighted she is willing to be a bridesmaid, and I am freaking thrilled for such a rad sis. I can't wait to get to know her better and have some crazy adventures of our own.

Sam Olsen

What to say about the young man who says so little? :) From the time I met Jessi's little brother I truly knew there was much to know of him. You don't need to look very hard to notice one of Noah's many incredible talents.  From snowboarding all the way to calligraphy, and everything in between, he's a legit stud! My teammate for sure and forever;)
