In the digital age, where love stories can begin with the swipe of a finger, ours started in December 2018 on the modern matchmaker known as Hinge. Little did we know, that single click would ignite a spark that would change our lives forever.

Our first in-person meeting took place at V&E, Livermore's charming local watering hole. Fate had a playful twist in store for us that night, as Jessica happened to cross paths with Kylene's cousin, also named Jessica, at the bar. It was a serendipitous beginning, a foreshadowing of the intertwining of our lives to come.

The first year of our relationship was a whirlwind of adventures and shared experiences. While both working full-time in Livermore, we seized every opportunity to explore new places, embark on spontaneous road trips, and create cherished memories together.

As our love blossomed, so did our commitment. After a year of dating, we took a leap of faith and moved in together, settling into a cozy single-bedroom apartment in Walnut Creek. Little did we know, this new chapter would soon be marked by unforeseen challenges.

Just a few months after our move, the world was plunged into uncertainty as the COVID-19 pandemic swept across the globe, bringing with it lockdowns and isolation. Yet, amidst the chaos, our love remained steadfast, a beacon of hope and strength in uncertain times.

In the face of adversity, we leaned on each other, finding solace and comfort in the warmth of our shared home. And as the world slowly began to reopen, we realized that our journey together was far from over.

With hearts full of hope and dreams of the future, we made the decision to return to our roots in Livermore, where we took the next momentous step in our love story. Together, we purchased our very own home, a symbol of our commitment to building a future filled with love, laughter, and endless possibilities.

And so, as we stand here today, surrounded by the love and support of our friends and family, we are filled with gratitude for the winding path that brought us together. From that first message on a dating app to this moment of unity and love, our journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.

As we embark on this new chapter of our lives, we do so hand in hand, knowing that together, there is nothing we cannot overcome. With boundless love in our hearts, we look forward to continuing to write the story of our forever together.
