Who knew a simple DM would turn into “I do”? After a few late-night texts and FaceTime dates, Jessica and Reid finally met in person in March 2023 and sparks flew instantly. Reid’s undeniable charm and Jessica’s bubbly personality were the perfect match from the start.Their love story began long-distance while Reid was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi built on trust, constant communication, and plenty of laughter. By summer 2024, Jessica made her way to Mississippi, and their relationship grew into something even more special… that’s when they both knew this was forever.In September 2024, Reid honorably separated from the military, and together they made the 10-hour journey back to his hometown in Pennsylvania, ready to start their next chapter. By November, they had bought their first home and soon after, welcomed their sweet pup, Maggie May, into the family. Fast forward to August 2025… Reid got down on one knee, and it was the easiest “yes.”With the love and support of family and friends, they’ve built something unbreakable.Best friends. Soulmates. Partners for life… and soon-to-be husband and wife.

Perfect for grabbing a bite, strolling around, or fueling up before (or recovering after 😉) the celebration!

If you run on caffeine like we do, Twin Valley is a must—just a few minutes from the hotel and serving up seriously great coffee. Perfect for your pre-wedding fuel ☕😉

We had a chance to check this spot out and loved it—especially the BBQ and Nashville hot chicken 🔥 If you’re into delicious craft beer, great food, friendly owners, and a fun, laid-back vibe, it’s definitely worth a visit! And if you’re in the mood to explore, there are a handful of other great breweries just 5–10 minutes away, including: Stolen SunVK Brewing Co. &amp; EateryVictory BrewingSuburban Brewing Co.East Branch Brewing Co. Plenty of options to sip, snack, and enjoy! 🍺

Stolen Sun Craft Brewing and Roasting Company

If you have some free time, we definitely recommend popping over to Downtown West Chester—it’s about 20 minutes from the hotel and super cute, walkable, and has a bit of history mixed in with all the fun! You’ll find:🍽️ Tons of great restaurants (from casual bites to date-night spots)🍹 Fun bars + cocktail spots☕ Cozy coffee shops and bakeries🛍️ Boutique shopping and local finds🍦 Ice cream + dessert stops📚 The town itself dates back to the 1700s, so just walking around gives you that classic, charming vibe Perfect for strolling, grabbing a drink, and soaking in a little local charm—day or night! 😊

Downtown West Chester PA

If you have some time, Downtown Downingtown is such a fun, laid-back spot to explore—especially if you’re hungry (which you should be). A few of our favorites:🍽️ Mother. – one of the newer spots in town with amazing tacos, margaritas, and a super fun vibe (trust us, go here)🍕 Station Taproom – amazing pizza, craft beer, and a cool train-side setting🍔 The Borough – great all-around spot for drinks or a casual night out🍺 East Branch Brewing Company – craft beer + elevated pub food🍷 La Sponda – perfect if you’re looking for something a little more upscale🍷 R Five Wines – cozy wine bar with great wines, charcuterie, and a relaxed vibe for a night out or pre-dinner stop

The Borough

If you’re looking for a really special spot, White Dog Café in Chester Springs is such a great choice. Set in a beautifully restored historic farmhouse, it has the coziest, upscale farmhouse vibe with tons of charm. They’re known for their farm-to-table menu with fresh, local ingredients, plus great cocktails and a warm, inviting atmosphere—perfect for a nicer dinner or brunch. Definitely a go-to if you want something a little more elevated but still relaxed and welcoming 😊

White Dog Cafe - Chester Springs

About 20 minutes from the hotel, but definitely worth the trip if you have some extra time! If you’re looking for a spot with serious charm, Four Dogs Tavern is a favorite. Tucked in the historic village of Marshallton, it has that cozy, rustic farmhouse feel with fireplaces, outdoor patio seating, and a really warm, inviting atmosphere. The menu is New American with a seasonal, locally sourced focus. It’s the kind of place that feels a little hidden, a little special, and perfect for a relaxed but memorable dinner (especially if you want that cozy, countryside vibe) 😊
