Hunter and I first met through his twin brother in May of 2017 and became friends almost instantly. We spent a lot of time together that summer we first met but never actually started dating. Finally, in March of 2018 and at his senior prom, we started dating. Five and a half years later, he proposed to me in the same spot where we began our relationship. Our long friendship prior to dating has served our relationship well. He remains my best friend, and I know that will only continue through our marriage.
