Jessica and Derek’s story began at Kent State University, where their paths first crossed through Greek life. Derek was the flag football coach for Jessica’s sorority, and their bond quickly grew beyond the field. What started as friendship blossomed into a deep and lasting love over 12 wonderful years.

After college, Jessica and Derek moved to Cleveland, where they’ve built a life filled with adventure and joy. Their days are often spent exploring the city’s vibrant neighborhoods, cheering on local sports teams, attending concerts, and indulging in the diverse culinary scene. At home, they’re joined by their beloved dog, Pippa, and their cherished cat, Blaze, who keep their lives full of laughter and warmth.

Derek’s proposal was a memorable moment on E4th in downtown Cleveland, a perfect reflection of their shared love for the city. As they prepare to say I do, they look forward to continuing their journey together, creating more memories, and sharing their love with family and friends.
