Our Wedding

Our story begins all the way back around 2011.We met on the school bus when Blake moved to Litchfield—right down the street from the Bedard house. It didn’t take long for us to become the best of friends, biking and scootering to hang out after school and on weekends. Fast forward to eighth grade: we went to our semi-formal dance together… as friends (obviously). As we got older and grew into ourselves, we didn’t see each other as often—but whenever we did, it was as if no time had passed. We’d catch up, laugh, and enjoy every moment. This is our invisible string theory: no matter where life took us, we were always connected by an invisible thread that would one day pull us back together. In 2021, we went on our first date. Did we know it was a date at the time? Still unsure. But we found ourselves together again, wanting the same things and excited for our futures. Three months later, we were moving in together in Wilmington, North Carolina, ready to start our next adventure. It wasn’t long before Diesel joined our little family—and not long after that, we bought him a home with his very own backyard. On our wedding day, we’ll be working on six years of our love story, and we’re so excited to see where this love takes us next.
