It was, in every sense, love at first sight. On February 16, 2024, Jessica was assigned to shadow a coworker who happened to be visiting Thomas’s school. They met, exchanged a few effortless conversations, and instantly connected.	The moment Jessica stepped out of the room—at precisely 10:26 a.m.—they both sent messages to their friends, declaring that they had just found “the one.”

How it Started

Thomas and Jessica crossed paths once more in September 2024, and it wasn’t long before he asked for her number and an opportunity to see her outside of work. From that moment on, not a single day passed without the two of them talking. They would call each other on the drive home, again before bed—sometimes for just a few minutes, sometimes for hours. No matter how long the conversation, they never grew tired of hearing each other’s voice.By October, Thomas welcomed her fully into his world by introducing her to Cooper. Together, the three of them leapt into the holiday season, busy as could be—and once the holidays ended, Cooper made sure the pace never slowed.Their lives have since been filled with family game nights, Orbeez battles, waterpark getaways, late‑night sporting events, brewery visits, mini‑golf outings, bike rides and countless everyday joys. In this household, family time is never in short supply.

Life got busy!

The two had planned a trip to Massachusetts so Thomas and Cooper could meet the rest of Jessica’s family and see the place where she grew up. Cooper had only one request—to visit the beach—and that wish was certainly granted. Yet, unbeknownst to Jessica, Cooper had been keeping a far more meaningful secret. He had known for months exactly what would unfold when they finally arrived.	On November 21, 2025, in the midst of an impromptu photo of the joyful couple, Thomas dropped to one knee and asked Jessica to marry him. Without the slightest hesitation, she said yes.Nothing fills Jessica’s heart more than knowing she’ll get to spend forever with her boys.

There is a Sonny’s BBQ &amp; a Beef O Brady’s right next to the Microtel. Starbucks andand fast food options just down the road. Ft. Dade Battlefield State Park has picnic grounds,hiking, a playground and a small museum. At Bushnell Motorsports Park you can rent go-carts orwatch the action if they have an event. Bushnell is also home to the Florida National Cemetery forveterans. The Withlacoochee Trail is near by for bike rides and if any of the group is stayingthrough Monday, there is a large weekly Farmer’s Market &amp; Flea Market in nearby Webster. TheVillages are nearby as well with lots of dining and shopping options.

Dade City is a charming town with numerous antique and specialty shops to explore. There arerestaurants to suit almost any taste. (Olio’s, Kafé Kokopelli, The Green Door &amp; Lunch on Limoge&amp; more...) Dade City is home to the Kumquat Festival each January and Church Street Christmasin December along with other special events throughout the year. For history fans, check out thePioneer Museum and the historic courthouse. Dade City is about 30 minutes south on Hwy 301,between us and Tampa.

Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Ybor City, the Lowry Park Zoo, MOSI and The TampaAquarium are a few of the popular attractions. There are also many other museums, historicbuildings and fantastic restaurants.

Tampa 

Clermont is about a 30-40 minute drive, located between us and Orlando. Clermont isa great choice for shopping, lunch and spending the day. There is a Sunday Farmer’s Marketdowntown most weekends and frequent special events. The Lakeridge Winery in Clermont offerstours and tastings. Check their calendar for other fun events held at the Winery.

Mt Dora is also a great day trip with plenty of options for shopping, dining, historical sites andmore. In addition to hotels there are several popular bed and breakfasts in Mt. Dora.

Disney Parks, Universal Studios, Sea World and International Drive are popular touristspots. There is also downtown Orlando and Winter Park with shops, restaurants, museums andmore for a different type of experience. Kissimmee also has lots of options.

Orlando

There are so many other choices..... Inveress is nearby with Citrus County Speedway, shopping,restaurants, B&amp;Bs and hotel choices. The Yalaha Bakery and Yalaha Bootlegging Company areabout 30 minutes away. The Mission Inn Resort in Howie-in-the-Hills is a good choice for golfers.Brooksville, off I-75 toward Tampa, has additional lodging choices along with restaurants,shopping and more. Ocala is 30 minutes north, with plenty of options for activities and places tostay. The Villages are also worth a look. Tarpon Springs makes a nice day trip and don’t forget thebeaches!
