Their story began in 2014 when Mike was attending Saint Augustine High School and Jess was at Our Lady of Peace. Although Jess was literally half his size, he couldn't help but admire her outstanding personality and gorgeous looks! From trips to America's finest restaurant, Chili's, to Mike attending OLP softball games and Jess cheering him on at Friday night football games and both of them spending time together watching many sunsets at Mission Bay and Mount Soledad, Mike decided it was time to make things official and ask Jess to be his girlfriend. Throughout these past almost 9 years together, Mike and Jess got to share unforgettable moments together, such as celebrating graduations, traveling to different states, attending Mikes college football games, being by each others sides through surgeries, running a half marathon, and so much more. On March 23, 2023 Mike surprised Jess with the sweetest proposal taking her to the place where it all started, Mount Soledad. Now, in just a couple of months, these high school sweethearts will tie the knot and they are so excited to start their happily ever after!
