Our Wedding

We owe it all to the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Bronson was home for the winter before beginning his stint with the Texas Rangers team in Surprise, AZ. He made his way to Costa Mesa and spent the evening watching the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show with Chloe and Ryan Lieber. That evening Chloe messaged Jessica to ask if she was dating and open to Chloe sharing her number with Bronson. With all the right intel, Bronson asked Jessica on their first date - burritos and a Gulls Hockey game. Distance would prove challenging during their young career years, but fate would have this celebration filed away in their future. Thank you for sharing in celebration of our future together. We owe, know, and love you all Lieber family!

How We Met

Jessica's best friend from high school. They've been inseparable since Jenna's father, Rick, asked Jessica to be on his AYSO Soccer team (circa 2004). In true yin-yang fashion, Jenna and Jess's personalities are the perfect combination of sassy and sweet when they're together. Who's who is not the point. Ultimately, Jenna's "cousin" Chloe (Davis) Lieber would introduce Bronson and Jessica in December of 2016. Over the last 10 years, they've learned to balance their friendship over the southern pacific, ebbing and flowing between Santa Barbara and San Diego.

Chandler and Jess became roommates in 2020, just a few months into COVID. Three years later, Bronson would move in and they'd all spend their last year as adult roommates together. While Jess and Chandler started out as roommates first, work-from-home "coworkers" soon followed, and in 2024 they closed both of those chapters with a friendship to last a lifetime. Chandler still resides in Leucadia, along with her Collie named Cooper. We were all very pleased to find out Kairi and Cooper fell into friendship at first sight.

Cindy and Jess both played in San Diego's VOLO flag football circuit as early as 2017 with all of the same friends, but would not meet each other until 1 ACL tear, 2 new jobs, and 3 years later. Their friendship started strong over astrology, champagne, and a Doobie Brothers 50th Anniversary tour concert. Due to Jessica's untimely second ACL tear and incumbent retirement, they continue their friendship over shared wine memberships and the occasional Pliny the Elder.

Karyssa is the best Chadwick family addition there ever was. Not only is she the best "on-call" Sister-In-Law vet tech to Kairi, she consistently wins battles for best nick-naming conventions. Consider this your fair warning, and please do seek her out if you're in the market for a new moniker.

Major thanks to Chandler for bringing Maria and Jess together at a beach hang in the early COVID months. It didn't take long for these two to recognize a fellow Sagittarius. Three months later they'd adventure to Thailand where Maria introduced Jess to the wide underwater world of scuba diving. The entire trip fellow travelers guessed they were sisters  -  to which they'd respond, "we're soul sisters!"

Frances and Jess met running track together at UC Santa Barbara. While they only (technically) spent 1 year as housemates living on Del Playa, that year carried enough memories to last us lifetimes. And yet, post-collegiately, they've added to their plethora of memories starting with a yoga teacher training, corporate life, Padres games, mountain trips, the shared love of San Diego, and most importantly, the men with big families we've met here. Olé... olé, olé, olé!

Amber and Jess spent 8 years as neighbors in Leucadia, with innumerable outings to SolTerra, Regal Seagull, and Captain Kenos... (RIP) here stands the longest, "You home and want to hang" record of all time. With a good 5 years of reciprocated meet ups ranging from Beacon's beach days to street fairs and Taste of Leucadia events; the schedule gods smiled down upon these two free birds happily. If you're looking for Amber, she's probably getting another round!
