This is where our friendship began! Yes, we knew each other vaguely existed at UC Berkeley, but we ran into each other watching the same show at this cozy venue post-college and we ended up talking all night. Oh, love.
We don't go here much anymore, but this is the location of our first unofficial date on New Year's Day. Lots of coffee, reading, and Bon Iver listening.
We got engaged immediately after dinner here on our 5th anniversary :) Order the octopus appetizer!
Young loves tacos more than he loves Jess. This is our go-to taco truck, reliably posted beside the Best Buy parking lot. If you get a chance, try the lengua and cabeza tacos.
One of our favorite places for pasta and pizza. Everything is good. EVERYTHING.
Ignore all the #paleo and #cleaneating for a second and eat an entire Pain d'epi by yourself.
Xiu Long Bao and Pork Dumplings in Chili Oil! This restaurant is located very far out in the fog, but if where you're visiting from doesn't have any good Shanghainese food, you might want to make the trip. These aren't better than Din Tai Fung, though, so LA folks skip.
If you have an hour to kill and can tolerate a solid line, the ham and cheese croissant is life-changing. You'll never eat another Costco croissant again.
The most beautiful patisserie ever. Eat anything!
This is where we get all our coffee beans for our daily home brewing joy. Enjoy some at our wedding!
Go Giants! Visit this beauuuutiful stadium and (finger's crossed) we'll be in the postseason while you're here!
