Like all great modern love stories, ours began on Hinge. In October 2021, a few witty messages (and probably a cat photo or two) led to a first date at Victoria Gardens. We meant to grab coffee but ended up staying for dinner at The State Restaurant—because when conversation flows as easily as cold brew, you don’t call it quits that easily. Since then we’ve built a life full of laughter, adventure, travel, and—most importantly—caffeine. We love hiking nearby trails, rooting for the Mariners (even when our hearts get broken), and spending lazy weekends with our two cats, Sonny and Poppy—who definitely run the show. On July 26, 2025, at one of our favorite spots in Newport Beach, CA, Travis surprised Jessica by getting down on one knee during a sunset walk on the beach. With the ocean breeze, happy tears, and one very sparkly yes (plus a few curious seagulls), it was the perfect moment. Now we are excited to begin our next chapter together surrounded by family and friends who have cheered us on, caffeinated us, and patiently listened to far too many stories about our kitty kids.
