Maurizio and Jessica met back in 2008 when she came up to NJ to visit her sister, Nicole, who was dating Maurizio’s cousin, Tommaso. Nicole and Tommaso have been together for 15+ years and Jessica grew up with Maurizio’s Aunt and cousins (Tommaso and Anthony). Throughout all the visits to NJ and seeing each other at holidays or get togethers, Maurizio and Jessica always had “a thing” or “a crush” on each other but being 1,200 miles apart, dating each other just didn’t seem realistic.

Maurizio and Jessica kept in touch throughout the years and finally decided to give it a shot- in November of 2021 with a random phone call at 8pm on his way home from work and they got to talking and sparks flew. They planned a visit with each other for March of 2022 and it was just clearly meant to be. They did long distance for some months and then Jessica moved to New Jersey to be with Maurizio in September of 2022.

Engaged by June of 2023 and married by September 2023, this perfect couple is truly a fairytale story!
