We&nbsp;went&nbsp;into&nbsp;PetSmart&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;Saturday&nbsp;during&nbsp;their&nbsp;adoption&nbsp;event&nbsp;and&nbsp;Hazel&nbsp;literally&nbsp;jumped&nbsp;onto&nbsp;Rick&nbsp;and&nbsp;basically&nbsp;chose&nbsp;him&nbsp;as&nbsp;her&nbsp;human&nbsp;and&nbsp;that's&nbsp;how&nbsp;this&nbsp;sweet&nbsp;girl&nbsp;came&nbsp;into&nbsp;our&nbsp;life!&nbsp;💜

Adopted Hazel - August 1, 2015

I&nbsp;had&nbsp;been&nbsp;looking&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;little&nbsp;dog&nbsp;for&nbsp;awhile,&nbsp;had&nbsp;my&nbsp;eye&nbsp;set&nbsp;on&nbsp;one,&nbsp;went&nbsp;down&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;shelter&nbsp;and&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;vet.&nbsp;Then&nbsp;I&nbsp;spotted&nbsp;a&nbsp;small&nbsp;skidish&nbsp;crazy&nbsp;haired&nbsp;dog,&nbsp;they&nbsp;said&nbsp;she&nbsp;had&nbsp;been&nbsp;there&nbsp;for&nbsp;6&nbsp;months&nbsp;and&nbsp;no&nbsp;one&nbsp;wanted&nbsp;her...&nbsp;it&nbsp;&nbsp;was&nbsp;Pepper's&nbsp;lucky&nbsp;day&nbsp;because&nbsp;WE&nbsp;did!!!&nbsp;It&nbsp;has&nbsp;been&nbsp;quite&nbsp;the&nbsp;journey&nbsp;getting&nbsp;her&nbsp;adjusted&nbsp;but&nbsp;we&nbsp;couldn't&nbsp;&nbsp;imagine&nbsp;life&nbsp;without&nbsp;her&nbsp;and&nbsp;that's&nbsp;how&nbsp;we&nbsp;became&nbsp;Mata&nbsp;party&nbsp;of&nbsp;5!&nbsp;❤️

Adopted Pepper - May 9, 2018

Rick&nbsp;popped&nbsp;the&nbsp;question&nbsp;while&nbsp;on&nbsp;vacation&nbsp;in&nbsp;Montana.&nbsp;He&nbsp;was&nbsp;so&nbsp;nervous&nbsp;he&nbsp;changed&nbsp;his&nbsp;original&nbsp;proposal&nbsp;plan&nbsp;and&nbsp;dropped&nbsp;to&nbsp;his&nbsp;knee&nbsp;and&nbsp;asked&nbsp;me&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;guest&nbsp;room&nbsp;of&nbsp;my&nbsp;parents&nbsp;house...Pepper&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;only&nbsp;witness!&nbsp;💍&nbsp;You&nbsp;guessed&nbsp;it...&nbsp;I&nbsp;said&nbsp;YES!!!&nbsp; Never&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;million&nbsp;years&nbsp;did&nbsp;I&nbsp;ever&nbsp;think&nbsp;I&nbsp;would&nbsp;get&nbsp;married,&nbsp;besides&nbsp;the&nbsp;fact&nbsp;that&nbsp;we&nbsp;had&nbsp;a&nbsp;pact&nbsp;that&nbsp;we&nbsp;would&nbsp;not&nbsp;get&nbsp;married...&nbsp;well&nbsp;Rick&nbsp;went&nbsp;rogue&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;followed!&nbsp;💑

Art&nbsp;is&nbsp;my&nbsp;cousin&nbsp;but&nbsp;is&nbsp;more&nbsp;like&nbsp;a&nbsp;brother&nbsp;to&nbsp;me.&nbsp;We&nbsp;grew&nbsp;up&nbsp;together&nbsp;and&nbsp;both&nbsp;were&nbsp;blessed&nbsp;with&nbsp;ending&nbsp;up&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;Vallejo&nbsp;girl!&nbsp;Thanks&nbsp;for&nbsp;having&nbsp;my&nbsp;back&nbsp;and&nbsp;being&nbsp;by&nbsp;my&nbsp;side&nbsp;on&nbsp;this&nbsp;big&nbsp;day.

I&nbsp;was&nbsp;lucky&nbsp;enough&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;this&nbsp;free-spirited&nbsp;woman&nbsp;in&nbsp;2008&nbsp;when&nbsp;we&nbsp;worked&nbsp;together.&nbsp;We&nbsp;quickly&nbsp;became&nbsp;friends&nbsp;and&nbsp;decided&nbsp;to&nbsp;open&nbsp;up&nbsp;a&nbsp;floral&nbsp;&&nbsp;event&nbsp;planning&nbsp;business&nbsp;in&nbsp;2010&nbsp;that&nbsp;we&nbsp;ran&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;couple&nbsp;years&nbsp;and&nbsp;loved&nbsp;every&nbsp;wedding&nbsp;we&nbsp;worked&nbsp;on...&nbsp;now&nbsp;the&nbsp;time&nbsp;has&nbsp;come&nbsp;for&nbsp;my&nbsp;wedding&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;am&nbsp;so&nbsp;grateful&nbsp;to&nbsp;have&nbsp;Lisa&nbsp;by&nbsp;my&nbsp;side!
