We are still in the processing of planning, but if you have started too, here is some information that might be helpful.

Our wedding venue is located 20 minutes south of the Florence city center in the Tuscan hills. The largest nearby airports are Florence and Rome. There are direct flights from major US cities to both. There are direct trains from Rome center to Florence center all day and it takes about 1hr 45min (it is about an hour longer if you come directly from the airport).

Our welcome party will take place in Florence.

We will have transportation from a central Florence location to the wedding venue so feel free to book a room on your own or with friends as there are many hotels/rentals to choose from. You may also find lodging in the countryside closer to the venue but transportation will be on your own.

While there is great public transportation, Uber is available in Florence but as a private car service that must be reserved at least 30 min in advance. Taxis are also available and you can book with the app 'FREENOW' or hail one down. If you are staying outside the city center, your hotel/lodging may be able to arrange a car service but it was recommended by our planners to rent a car to easily get around.
