D'Angelo and Jessica first met at a business meeting in summer of 2018. D'Angelo's parents were the one's who introduced them, as they were arriving Amy (D'Angelo's mom) joked saying " we found your future wife".

Fast-forward a couple months the two went on a road trip with some friends for a business conference in Virginia (where Jessica is originally from) D'Angelo and Jessica were assigned driving buddies to take the night shift from 3am-9am. They were the last two up and spent the whole night talking and connecting, and realizing how much they had in common.

Couple more months later the two realized they had feelings for each other, but neither one would admit it until March of 2019 when they we went to a bookstore together and ended up confessing their feelings and realized the feelings were mutual.

Summer of 2021 D'Angelo's family went to Wisconsin for a week and Jessica went with the family. A couple days in they went up to visit their grandparents cabin near lake superior. They went hiking one of the days and ended at a small water fall area, later they went back to the cabin and D'Angelo, his mom, sister and grandma said they needed to go run an errand. A few minutes later Jessica was told they were all going to go to the lake to go hang out and meet everyone else. As they got there they walked all they way down and D was there and had a bottle in the sand with a letter inside... D'Angelo had Jessica read it as Tennessee Whisky played in the background, as she finished D'Angelo got on one knee and popped the question.... legend says she was so much in shock she never actually said yes and just took the ring (LOL)

The two have been best friends since 2019 and as time continues their love and admiration for each other only grows.
