It all started when two of Jess's friends clicked on Dee's Match profile. After a quick conversation, Jess jetted off to New York for a weeklong work trip. As Dee would tell you, he was quickly ghosted. The story doesn't end here. Dee sent one text that would change both their lives forever. Jess texted him back (after doing a background search) and decided she needed to move their conversation to a phone call. This led them to talk for hours as she made her way back to South Carolina. Over the next three days, the two shared deep conversations trying to get to know each other more. By Sunday, Dee was jumping into his Chevy Equinox and heading to Beaufort to meet Jess. He arrived early (no surprise). Jess was late (also, not a surprise). She pulled up in the parking lot and jumped out car to find a man and his dog. One of the best combinations. Much like the past three days, these two spent their time together talking and sharing their lives. So much that Dee met the whole family on the first day. This was the beginning to what has become a beautiful love story.
