Antonio and Jessica want all of their friends and family to have the trip of a lifetime. They hope that everyone has fun, feels included, and gets to know each other.

For women, cute dresses of any length are acceptable. You may also wear a nice pant and top. For men, pants and a nice shirt is preferred. Feel free to wear short sleeves!

Are kids welcome at the wedding?

Yes! If your kids are in Mexico with you, of course they can come.

What shoes should we wear for the wedding?

Shoes are optional on the sand. Heels are not recommended. Feel free to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and stylish.

What should we do when we get to the resort?

Check in, settle in, and relax! This is your vacation too! Antonio and Jessica would love to see you, so feel free to shoot them a text.

What is included in my resort fee?

Everything! You may eat, drink, and do whatever you want without paying extra. Extra costs are very rare around the resort (large lobster dishes, coconuts, ect.)

How do I get to and from the airport if booked through the wedding website?

If you booked through our website, Heather will reach out before the trip to collect your flight information both to and from Puerto Vallarta. All flight information will be due January 15, 2025. When you get off the plane, a private driver will be holding a sign with your name on it. He/she will take you straight to the Hyatt Ziva. Once you get there, check in at the desk. At your designated leaving time (coordinated with Heather before the trip), a driver will be at the resort waiting to take you back to the airport. If you have any questions, Heather Gamble can help you out to make it a seamless experience.

Who is Heather?

Heather Gamble is our travel agent through Romance Travel Group. Please use her as a resource if you have any questions or concerns. Heather Gamble: 507-237-6156 Heather@RomanceTravelGroup.Com

How do I get to and from the airport if I did NOT book through the wedding website?

If you did not book through the wedding website, you are responsible for your own transportation. We recommend taking a labeled cab to and from the airport. Cabs will be available outside the airport doors. There will be several other people offering rides. Unlabeled cabs are not recommended. Other options include Uber (located across the pedestrian bridge) or hiring a private driver ahead of time.

What if I want to go on an excursion?

Feel free to book your own activities and manage your time individually. The couple does not expect the group to be hanging out together the whole time.

How do I leave the resort?

The bellman can call a cab for you and it will arrive within minutes. The cab checks you out with your name, room number, and cab number as a safety precaution. You will need Mexican Pesos to pay the driver.

How do I make dinner reservations at the resort?

Reservations are highly recommended. In the lobby, there is a desk that specializes in dinner reservations. Once you get to the resort, you can either reserve one night at a time or reserve your whole stay all at once. When Antonio and Jessica visited, they never had trouble getting the reservation they wanted.

Should I bring my wedding gift to Mexico?

It is preferred that you do not bring your gift to Mexico. While your gifts are very much appreciated, the couple will have a lot to carry and might not have room for more. Please either ship it to their house in Chanhassen or deliver in person. Feel free to bring cards to the wedding in Mexico.

Will I need Pesos?

It is recommended that you get Pesos for gratuities, cabs, and the bachelor/bachelorette parties. There is an exchange in the Puerto Vallarta airport, but there are multiple ways to exchange cash.

Should I worry about the language barrier?

Everyone at the resort speaks Spanish and Spanglish. Most of the workers also speak perfect English.

Will my phone work in Mexico?

We recommend you look into your phone plan before you leave. Many phone plans (Verizon and Tmobile) include US and Mexico. There is Wifi at the resort, so service is not mandatory.

When is the final room payment due if I booked through the wedding website?

The final room payment is due November 21, 2024. There is a $50 late payment penalty applied to reservations that are not paid in full by this date. If the reservation is not paid in full within 7 days of the final payment date, the reservation will automatically cancel and all payments will be forfeited.
