Matthew and I met at the good ol' University Pub in Fort Worth, Texas. I had just graduated from Texas Christian University and we both frequented The Pub as it was our local bar. One night, we ended up becoming pool partners in which we ran the table together for several hours. Matt appreciated that I could rock a pair of cowboy boots and blue jeans and I fell for his optimistic personality.

Our first date was a bike ride alongside the Trinity River and the rest is history.

Fast forward four years later, we are sitting around a campfire enjoying one of our favorite activities - camping. Matt proceeds to get down on one knee and propose in a beautiful, intimate setting with Augustus barking in the background (of course).

We cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with family and friends at a post-nuptial reception held at my parent's home in San Diego.
