Getting from Milan Malpensa Airport to Menaggio, Lake Como

We recommend coordinating a car/van/bus private transfer depending on the group size you are traveling with. Companies that provide this service have been added below, under Car Service &amp; Private Bus Transfer. The bus, train, or car rental are also options. Once in Menaggio, Lake ComoFerry's are frequent and available to visit neighboring towns There is also a bus line that is fairly easy to navigate. There are no rideshare (Uber or Lyft) options and a taxi is very hard to come by. If you want to travel around to the different parts of the lake, we highly recommend a private boat transfer and/or booking in advance either through the hotel or privately.

What town should I stay in, in Lake Como?

We highly recommend staying in the town of Menaggio in Lake Como.&nbsp;See Accommodations tab for recommended hotel options. The Welcome Party and the transportation to the wedding will be provided at Grand Hotel Victoria in Menaggio.

Is transportation provided to the wedding venue?

Boat transportation will be provided from Grand Hotel Victoria's dock to Villa Del Balbianello for the ceremony and reception. The return trip will also be provided. The venue can only be accessed via boat.

How do I get to Grand Hotel Victoria for the welcome party and wedding transportation?

Our recommended list of hotels on the accommodations page are walking distance, but if you are a bit further we suggest asking your hotel to coordinate transportation. If you are staying at an airbnb, we suggest booking a car service.

Are kids welcome?
