From Swipe Right to Mr. and Mrs. Right

It all started in November 2022 with a little app called Hinge. Jessica and Travis were both swiping their way through the digital dating jungle, dodging profile clichés and awkward pick-up lines, while hoping to find someone who didn't take bathroom selfies. They were searching for something special, little did they know, they were about to find it in each other. One evening, as Travis scrolled through Hinge, he stumbled upon Jessica’s profile. Her beautiful eyes stood out to him, but it was her quirky prompt that grabbed his attention: “Teach me how to grill and put air in my tires.” Travis, a self-proclaimed grill master and tire-inflation expert, thought, “I’ve got this!” He answered, genuinely and innocently, just trying to help her out, not realizing it was the start of a beautiful adventure. Messages flew back and forth as they bonded over sports, shared hobbies, and their faith in God. The conversation was so effortless and fun that by the end of the night, they had exchanged numbers. From that day forward, their phones buzzed with constant messages, filling their days with laughter and deep conversations. A few days later, they had their first date at Buffalo Wild Wings. Picture this: saucy fingers, not-so-spicy wings, and nonstop conversation. Talk about making a finger-licking first impression! Their chemistry was undeniable, and they both knew this was something special. On December 15, 2022, just a couple of weeks after they met on Hinge, they made it official – they were a couple! Fast forward to August 9, 2023, Jessica’s birthday. Travis had a surprise up his sleeve that was bigger than any birthday cake. With a heart full of love (and nerves), he got down on one knee and popped the question. Jessica’s eyes lit up with joy as she exclaimed, “YES!” It was a double celebration – an unforgettable proposal and the best birthday ever! From that magical day, their love story continued to grow, filled with fun, joy, and countless cherished moments.
