Jess, a bright-eyed freshman, crossed paths with Andrew, a worldly junior—a tale as old as time, with light-hearted jest about how the junior’s charm was inevitably drawn to the freshman’s spirited enthusiasm. The catalyst of this fateful encounter was a mutual friend, a dear confidante who now stands as the maid of honor, a testament to the enduring bonds of friendship. This meeting set the stage for a romance that would flourish and grow, much like the ivy on the campus walls. After their time at MSU, Jess and Andrew began their journey together in the charming town of St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Here, they made their first home, a humble abode that was soon filled with the joyful chaos brought by their beloved pets—two cats of distinguished character and a dog of boundless energy. As the seasons changed, so did their surroundings. The couple moved to the picturesque town of Holland, Michigan, exchanging their house for a cozy apartment. Yet, the pull of a more permanent sanctuary led them to their current dwelling—a beautiful home on the west side, where they now reside in contentment. A shared love for the great outdoors and the thrill of travel has colored their days with adventure. Together, they have traversed scenic landscapes, explored distant lands, and embraced the wonders of nature, all while weaving a tapestry of memories rich in love and laughter. And so, dear friends and family, we gather to celebrate the union of Jess and Andrew, whose love story is a testament to serendipity, friendship, and the timeless dance of love. We have a block of rooms and cabins (sleeps 8) at the venue reserved for Friday night and Saturday night. We have some of these still available but they are a limited quantity. Please contact us ASAP if you are interested in staying on site Saturday. Whatever is left available will become open to anyone (including the public) 3 months prior to the wedding. There are 15 rooms for Friday and Saturday. It is under Forman Wedding Party. The venue is located right on Gun Lake. There are not many other hotels close by. There are many airbnb's located in this area, I would recommend this route if you are not staying on site or booking a room at the Gun Lake Casino. NOTE: It may be difficult (if possible even) to get an uber from the venue if you are traveling anywhere besides Grand Rapids. If you are traveling and have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact one of us! We are happy to help make arrangements. The sooner the better.

The airport is about an hour from our house, about 40 minutes from the venue, and right down the street from Andrew's work. Please contact us if you need transportation!

Located in Orangeville 15 miles from Gilmore Car Museum Bay Pointe Inn has accommodations with a restaurant free private parking a fitness center and a bar. The property provides a ski pass sales point as well as a shared lounge and a garden. The resort has an indoor pool hot tub evening entertainment and a 24-hour front desk. At the resort the rooms have a desk. Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and a hairdryer all rooms at Bay Pointe Inn have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning and selected rooms also feature a seating area. The accommodation offers a continental or buffet breakfast. Bay Pointe Inn has a terrace. Guests at the resort will be able to enjoy activities in and around Orangeville like skiing and cycling. A business center and vending machines with drinks and snacks are available on site at Bay Pointe Inn. The nearest airport is Gerald R. Ford International Airport 26 miles from the accommodation.
