2:30h from Milan by train, Portofino is an amazing option for someone who would love to enjoy the beach with beautiful views.
Lake Maggiore
Another popular lake in Italy, Lake Maggiore is the second largest lake in Italy and the largest in southern Switzerland. The lake and its shoreline are divided between the Italian regions of Piedmont and Lombardy and the Swiss canton of Ticino.
Venice
The Italian city of Venice surely makes it onto every traveller's must-see list. It is a destination unlike any other, with a reputation for romance that surpasses even that of the Italian capital, or Venice's near neighbour that was the setting for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
