Our Wedding

Jess and Sean's love story began how most love stories start - they both swiped right! Jess was skeptical at first given her years of online dating, but luckily Sean was persistent and quick to exchange numbers, the two began talking regularly. After a couples weeks of daily text exchanges, they agreed to meet for dinner in Waltham. Jess was not sure she wanted to go, until Sean said she could wear jeans to the date. Sean naturally arrived 20 mins early and Jess arrived 10 mins late. Over dinner they enjoyed tapas and conversation, with Jess asking Sean questions about himself, which he would later describe as being "grilled or interrogated". However, despite the nerves, the jeans, and the "interrogation" the two managed to power through and agreed to see each other again. They have been together ever since.

We have setup a hotel block at a group rate at the Aloft Leawood-Overland Park. Please note the hotel have let us know there is a large event happening in Overland Park this same week, so we recommend booking as soon as you know if you will be attending. Transportation details from the hotel to the venue to follow.

To ensure there are plenty of rooms for all our out of town guests, we have setup an additional hotel block at another nearby hotel in the Overland Park area.

Element Overland Park

We will be providing shuttle transportation for guests to and from the wedding. Shuttles will run from the Aloft Hotel to the venue prior to the ceremony and will run from the venue to the Aloft Hotel after the reception. Additional details around timing to be shared in coming weeks. Your RSVP will request details around your interest in using the shuttle service.
