We Swiped Right! 

﻿Michael and Jessica met in the fall of 2018 after swiping right on an online dating app. After Michael's cheesy pick up lines, Jessica finally agreed to go out on a date with him. Michael took Jessica to Heart and Crown on Preston St. and headed to an Absolute Comedy show. The two of them got along very well and Jessica talked Michael's ear off! When the date was over, Michael had already asked when he would see her again. They went on many adventures together and the love between them grew stronger and stronger. They took care of each other when needed and were each other's number one support. It wasn't long into their relationship when Michael knew Jessica was the one and Jessica felt the same. On December 18th, 2020, Michael took Jessica out on a surprise date. He took her out for dinner and drinks at a very cute restaurant in the market. They talked about their future and shared many laughs. After dinner, Michael took Jessica for a walk into the Courtyard. It was then he surprised her with the question. Jessica said "YES!" The two of them shared many tears of joy and celebrated over champagne. Jessica got straight to planning once Michael left for training. It is now time for them to celebrate their love story surrounded by family and friends.

Please let us know if you need a ride on a shuttle. We will be ordering a shuttle bus that will pick you up near these hotels and bring you to the venue and the same shuttle will bring you back at the end of the evening.

Emily is the younger sister of Jessica and best friend.  Emily is always joking around and never taking life too serious. She lives life to the fullest and loves to online shop.  If Emily is not working, she is travelling the world with her friends and loved ones. Jessica is excited to have her baby sister by her side when she marries the love of her life.  Emily is always up for a good glass of wine. If you don't see her on the dance floor, check the bar!

Kristin is Jessica's older sister, best friend and all-around amazing human. She’s also one of the  funniest humans on the planet ( at least Jessica thinks so).  Growing up,  Kristin always looked out for her sisters and was someone Jessica looked up to the most. Kristin is a hard working nurse and loves what she does.  Having her by Jessica’s side on this special day means the world to her.  You will find her dancing the night away with a tambourine in hand.

Sarah walked into Jessica's life over 20 years ago  when she started going to St. Catherine's Elementary School. Jessica and Sarah became  very good friends quickly 
 and that friendship has grown stronger and stronger over the years. They have endless memories growing up together.  Sarah is a beautiful person on the inside and out.  She is that friend who will always be there for you and that is why Jessica could not get married without her by her side. If you see her by the bar, buy her a tequila shot!

Moragh, the life of the party, Brawley.  This friend means a lot to the bride. Moragh came into Jessica's life in high school and have been good friends since.  She is the person you can rely on for anything, whether it be doing something active outside, having a nice talk, or dancing the night away.  Moragh is such an amazing human and always up for a good time. Jessica is so happy to have Moragh as a bridesmaid on her special day!  Moragh will be out on the dance floor showing off her sweet moves. You won't want to miss it!

Shannon is another close friend to Jessica that she met in high school. She has such a big heart and  has always been there for Jessica.  Shannon is the first to say yes to doing something new and spontaneous. She is such a fun person to be around and she has the ability to find the funny side to every situation.  Shannon is one of the most loyal people that Jessica knows, and couldn’t be happier to have her standing by her side on her wedding day.  You can find Shannon yelling "SHOTS" at the bar or dancing to 50 cent on the dance floor with Moragh.

Michael a.k.a Boucher. Boucher has been Michael’s partner in crime for longer than he remembers. From suiting up on Saturday’s for the bars to spending the weekends relaxing at his cottage, Boucher has always been supportive of any of Michael’s dreams and goals in life. Nowadays, if Boucher is not travelling the world, he’s spending time with his puppy, Tommy. If you see this man not dancing, bring him on the dance floor.

Josh has been one of Michael’s best friends for over  a decade now. They’ve  shared many good laughs while going on weekend trips camping or to the cottage. Josh is a very loyal person and Michael couldn’t be happier to have him standing by his side on this very special day. Keep an ear out for his best man speech, which will no doubt be filled with embarrassing tales from their childhood. If you see him at the bar, buy him a Jack Daniel’s shot!

Joshua Vadneau

Matthew a.k.a Mateusz is  Michael’s older brother and all around an amazing human. Matthew is very smart and has always been there for his younger brothers. He’s a man of many crafts and is always up for an adventure.  Michael couldn’t ask for a better brother and a friend. If you like a good debate, this is the guy you want to speak to.

Andrew and Michael’s friendship has grown closer throughout the last several years. Andrew is someone Michael can always rely on and would do just about anything for him.  It means the world to Michael that Andrew is one of his groomsman on this special day. Andrew is a big sports fan. If Andrew is not on the golf course, he is watching sports on tv with a cold beer in hand!

Lawrence a.k.a Cousin Larry, has been part of Michael’s life since 2015. Michael first met Lawrence when he moved into Michael’s  great aunt’s house from Nigeria to continue his studies at the University of Ottawa. Since then, he’s been a part of the family and we all love him very much. He’s a true gentleman with a big heart. If you’re looking for an intellectual conversation at the wedding, look no further!

This is Jessica and Michael's nephew and godson. He is  the cutest little guy with  his tight curls and dance moves.  Noah is the life of the party and everyone wants to be around him. Noah will be able to tell you all about tractors and boats.  His dimples and smile will light up the room. The day would not be complete without him in it. Noah is a big fan of Blippi and may request a Blippi song to dance to on the dancefloor. Check out his break dancing moves on the day of.
