We met in October of 2013 while volunteering at UConn. We were part of an organization that hosted a fundraiser for sick Children

The event put on a fashion show for kids, our team's theme was animal safari. Jessica was dressed as a tiger and I was dressed as a giraffe. We won the fashion show with our animal safari theme!

After the event Jessica and I started hanging out, and I asked Jessica to be my date to formal in Cape Cod. We continued seeing each other throughout college making long-lasting memories.

After college we packed all of our worldly possessions onto my sedan and set off on our big road trip to California, the rest is history!

A few days before the proposal, Brandon told me we were going on a surprise trip over the weekend! We arrived at Pismo Beach, one of our favorite sleepy beaches along the coast of California. After eating lunch, we walked down to the cove at the beach.

It all started with Brandon taking pictures of me by the water when a kind woman offered to take our photo together. We smiled and posed for the camera. Suddenly, Brandon said, "wait, can you take one more photo?" Then he got down on one knee, and proposed!

Afterward, a professional photographer came running toward us and congratulated us. As fate would have it, Kelsey spotted the proposal from afar and captured our special moment. She gave us a complimentary engagement shoot, and just like that, we found our wedding photographer!

After the proposal, Brandon surprised me with a special room at one of our favorite places, Sycamore Mineral Springs. It was truly an unforgettable weekend, everything happened in perfect synchronicity!
