Our Wedding

We met at Falls Park in downtown Greenville, SC for our first date. It started out as a simple ice cream date but very quickly turned into 7 hours of talking while we walked around Falls Park, don't worry we still got our ice cream. Within the next week we had already planned almost a summers worth of activities together. As time passed we couldn't help but spend as much time as we could together despite our busy schedules.In early October we took our first road trip to a place that's very special to both of us, Vermont. While we were in Vermont we spent a lot of time exploring new towns, visiting friends and family, and revisiting our old stomping grounds.One very special stop on that list was Camp Keewadin at Dunmore Lake. Karl had spent 5 summers attending Camp Keewadin while growing up and considers it to be one of his favorite places of all time. While he was showing Jess around the camp, pointing out his campsites and telling stories of his time there, he stopped at the shore of Lake Dunmore and proposed. Of course, Jess said yes!Since October we have continued to make lots of plans, eat lots of ice cream, and have even collected 13 chickens (chicken math is real, beware). We are incredibly excited to start this next chapter of our lives together, and to celebrate that with all of you!
