Where is the wedding?

We are getting married at a 5-star all-inclusive resort in Mexico, called the Majestic Elegance (it's about a 40 minute drive from the Cancun airport).

When is the trip?

The wedding week will be hosted from Friday November 1st 2024 to Friday November 8th 2024. We will be saying "I do" on Tuesday November 5th at 3:00pm.

When do I have to RSVP by and how do I do so?

Please RSVP by December 1st 2023. You can do so by contacting our travel agent Alison Van Loosen by phone or by email: 905-623-3182 or alison.vanloosen@kemptravel.ca

Do I have to pay for the entire trip up front?

No, you will be asked to pay a deposit of $200 per person by December 1st, 2023 and the remainder of the payment will be due mid 2024 (please ask our travel agent Alison for further details on this).

What are the package options available? How much will the trip cost?

The package available to all guests is the seven day all-inclusive stay in the Jr. Suite Outdoor Jacuzzi Room (roughly $2600 CAD tax included). The pricing will vary depending on each guests room selection (upgrading to an ocean view, swim out pool, etc.).

What if I can't come for the selected dates but still want to attend the wedding?

There is some flexibility in travel dates for those that may want to come for a shorter period of time or who may need to fly in on a different date (please ask our travel agent Alison for further details on this).

Are kids welcome?

This will be an adults only event!

Should I bring a gift?

Please know your presence is the gift!

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

It's a formal beach event! What does this look like.. dresses and dress pants/button up shirt! And please, ladies, don't even think about wearing white HA

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

If weather permits, the plan is that the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place outdoors.

What will the wedding day look like?

As a guest, please enjoy all the resort has to offer that day, but make sure to conserve your energy, wear your sunscreen and drink lots of water... there will be an unforgettable evening to follow!

We ask you be ready and at the Sky Wedding Gazebo no later than 2:30pm. The Ceremony will begin at 3:00pm.

There will be a cocktail hour and reception to follow.

If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies please inform the front desk upon arrival.
