Our Wedding

Our story began in December 2016 at Springfield College, thanks to our mutual friend Liam Walsh. Jessica knew pretty quickly that there was something special between her and Joe.Joe went home to spend time with family for the Holiday break but decided to come back to MA early before starting the Spring Semester to see Jessica.To ring in the New year they celebrated at a party, where they shared their first kiss, setting the stage for everything that has followed.Springfield College is where we built so many of our favorite memories. From weekend parties and sushi dates to late-night DJ sessions and 2 AM steaks, our college days were full of fun and excitement. More importantly, these were the years when we had the opportunity to meet each others families, creating connections that have become incredibly important to us.

"Its Complicated" - Springfield College 2017-2021

In June of 2022, while living in our first apartment together in Connecticut, Joe and I adopted our fur baby, Mochi!Mochi quickly became the heart of our home. He's a master of snuggles, always ready to curl up for a cuddle session. His love for treats is only matched by his fascination with watching the birds outside our window – he could watch them for hours! Mochi has brought so much laughter, love, and joy into our lives.Adopting Mochi made us a little family. As we embark on this new chapter of our lives, we're so grateful to have him by our side. We can't wait to see what the future holds for us.

In January 2024, we made a huge leap and moved to the Big Apple! For Joe, this was a return to his roots. Growing up in Queens, he always talked about moving back to the city. For Jessica, it was a bit of a plunge into the unknown. Having lived in a small town her entire life, she was definitely nervous about embracing the hustle and bustle of New York City. But with Joe by her side, she knew she could do it.Now, after living on the Upper East Side for about three years, we can honestly say it's been one of the best decisions we've made together. There were definitely some adventures along the way, like learning the subway system (thanks to Joe's expert guidance!). Joe has been teaching Jessica all the tricks of being a true New Yorker, and it's been an incredible experience exploring this huge city together. We've loved every moment of discovering new restaurants, parks, and hidden gems. New York City has truly become our home.

The big move - January 2024

The day Joe proposed was, without a doubt, the happiest day of my life! We were spending the weekend at my grandmothers lake house to celebrate my birthday, which had been a couple of days before. Joe's family joined us for the day, and it was so special to have everyone together on the deck, sharing stories and laughter. Joe's family even got to meet my grandmother, which meant the world to me. Later, we all headed down to the beach to play games. After a few rounds, my sister suggested we take some pictures by the water, so we did. Then, I asked Joe if we could take some photos together. As we were posing, Joe got down on one knee and said, 'It's finally happening, will you marry me?' I was in shock, but in the best way possible! After eight years of dating and me dropping (maybe not-so-subtle) hints about rings, it was finally happening, and I was beyond happy.As we walked back to our families to celebrate, the initial shock wore off, and I burst into tears – happy tears, of course! Just a few minutes later, I saw a horse-drawn carriage coming down the road. Joe turned to me and said, 'Surprise!' He told me he had arranged for us to go on a ride around the lake. I was truly speechless because he knew I had always wanted to go on one with him. As we rode around the lake, our last stop was at First Beach, where he had arranged for all of my family and friends to be there to celebrate our engagement. I was so surprised that he had planned all of this, and I truly felt so special and loved.December 5, 2026 can't come fast enough!
