Our Wedding

It was fall of 2017 and friends had gathered at Jessica’s college apartment for a Halloween party. A few towns over, Brandon’s roommate was just about to head out to that very party and just as he was about to leave he invited Brandon along. Brandon, with no other plans decided to join and him and the rest of his friends attended all dressed as lumberjacks. In a gathering full of strangers, Jessica and Brandon found themselves chatting away with each other. What started as some small talk lead to them sticking together for the rest of the party and a promise to meet up for coffee another time. Fast forward to our first date which was getting coffee at a local cafe called Circuit Coffee. Brandon remembers exactly what Jessica ordered, a maple latte and a pumpkin cinnamon roll. They spent the day together and ended it with simple Chinese food for dinner before Brandon had to go back to his school. After eating, Jessica opened her fortune cookie said, “all good things come to an end,” they looked at each other and didn’t listen to the fortune cookie. Since then it has been 7 years of adventures, moving in together, and raising a dog. We can’t wait to celebrate our love and history with all of you on our special day!

The Marriott Springfield Downtown is in a prime location in Springfield, MA surrounded by restaurants, nightlife, and 1-2 blocks from MGM Casino. We have an on-site bar and restaurant called Bridge22 which is open on Friday & Saturday evenings until 12:00am or you can hit the town with family and friends. We are right off of I-91, I-291, and just a few miles from I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) so it would certainly be a convenient trip into the area. For anyone having to fly into the area, we are only about 25 minutes (right up I-91) from Bradley International Airport (BDL). DISCOUNTED ROOM RATE For Thursday, October 16, 2025 - Saturday, October 18, 2025 we are able to offer a discounted rate of $199.00 + tax for both a King Standard and/or a Double Queen Standard room. Last Day to Book : Tuesday, September 16, 2025 Book your group rate for Hover/Velasquez Wedding Room Block CHECK/IN AND CHECK-OUT Hotel check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out time is 11:00am. We suggest that guests make all of their travel and/or wedding arrangements around these times as the hotel cannot guarantee early check-in or late check-out at any point. OVERNIGHT PARKING The hotel is conveniently connected to the Tower Square Parking Garage, which hosts all of the hotel’s overnight parking. The Tower Square Parking Garage has a vehicle height maximum of 6’4”. The charge is typically $20.00 per vehicle, per night however room blocks receive a discounted overnight parking rate of $10.00 per vehicle, per night.
