Brendan and Jess met their sophomore and freshman year at Great Bridge High School. They shared the same PE class and quickly developed a crush on each other :) Brendan romantically asked Jess to be his girlfriend, bringing her flowers and skittles to school (so sweet). She soon broke his heart after realizing gymnastics was too consuming for boys. Flash forward 4 years, Jess wished Brendan a Merry Christmas and from then on, they rekindled their connection. They spent 3 long years doing long distance while Jess finished her degree and gymnastics in Alaska. They got engaged July 13, 2023! Currently, Brendan is working on his Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at ODU and Jess is working on her Nursing degree at Averett University. They are so excited for this chapter of life together and are so grateful for everyone supporting and celebrating with them! &lt;3
