Our story began with a text that said...

"Jesss!!!! There is a guy I work with who is SOOOO nice and he's looking to meet a lovely lady."

And as they say, the rest is history.

We had our first date in March 2022 at Nicky's Thai Kitchen in Downtown Pittsburgh. Dinner turned into a walk down to the Point. We never ran out of things to talk about, and we sat there together for hours. By the end of the night, we had already set up our next two dates with date number two taking place just two days later. And of course, we had to update our friends who had set us up - we both had quite a few texts asking for updates on the date.

It was clear that we both knew we were each other's "the one". We began spending more and more time together, and it wasn't long until we met the families. We enjoyed each new milestone - first time saying, "I love you", first trip away together, first anniversary - among many more wonderful moments.

We often talked of grand plans for our future together, so it shouldn't have been a surprise when Matthew got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. But me being so clueless, I was in awe. I smiled ear to ear and kept whispering, "Oh my gosh," until I of course said, "YES!".

This has been our favorite milestone so far, but we can't wait to celebrate the next milestone with our closest family and friends on June 22, 2024.
