Our Wedding

One night in October of 2017 we went to a Chase Rice country concert music at Kanza Hall in Overland Park with our own friend groups. After entering the bar and getting our standing spots for the remainder of the concert, it just so happened that Austin's friend group was behind Jess's. Andrew, one of Austin's ushers, made a comment about not being able to see the stage over the tall girl in front of him (Jess), to which she overheard. This started the merging of the friend groups and led to Austin and Jess going on a date the following week! We have been together for four and a half years now and each day together is better than the one before. We are the very best of friends and can't wait to start our life together as a married couple!

On our wedding day, Kansas State University also has a home football game. Unfortunately, that means hotels and places to stay may be in short supply and more expensive. We were able to reserve rooms at the hotels listed below so definitely try to reserve those quick using our block codes. Even the block rate for home games are more expensive, but nothing compared to room rates outside of the block which will continue to increase! So Long Saloon

A great place for donuts in the morning! The best part part about Varsity is it’s food truck. You can find it located behind their storefront and it doesn’t open until late at night. It’s the perfect end to a night out in Aggieville.
