Jessica and Justin first met back in 2016 at Jesss job, C&C hair salon where Justins Dad Jamal also worked. One day Justin came into the salon to get a haircut, he told the front desk he would take whoever is available and Jess was up next on the list for walk-ins. and BAM! The rest is history... haha just kidding. If only it were that easy!


Justin soon became a regular customer of Jesss at the salon, and every once in a while he would ask Jess to hang out afterward. Jess was not interested and turned him down every single time.


Fast forward around mid-2017 Justin surprised Jess with Starbucks AND hibachi while she was at the salon AFTER she had bailed on their hibachi lunch date earlier that day. This is when Jess finally realized Justin might actually be a nice guy, and after months of rejection, Justin plans their very first real date to the castle for some minigolf.

Jess and Justin began spending a lot of time together, and after only 2 weeks have passed Justin pops the question... will you be my girlfriend? Jess is completely stunned and says no! She told Justin to be patient, that she needed time to think about it. After only 2 days of contemplation, on June 18th, 2017, Jess changed her mind and they officially became a couple.


4 years later, in 2021 Jessica and Justin began talking about getting engaged. She picked out a ring, Justin got the approval from Jesss dad, and on March 25th 2022 they got engaged! Justin proposed on Myrtle beach with Jesss immediate family all there. They told Jess they were all going there for a family photo and as Jess and Justin went to take a photo on the beach he got down on his knee. (jess had a feeling it was going to happen while on vacation but did not know when) It went very smoothly and obviously, she said yes!


(from Jessica) And now, here we are Justin and I 5 years later, planning a wedding! Its kind of funny our love story, isnt it? Thank god I gave Justin a chance, because at first i really wasnt going to! However, it was his persistence that won me over and i wouldnt have it any other way. we are just so grateful to have found each other and take the next step: GET MARRIED!!
