There are a few different versions on how Brad and Jessica first met, Brad would say he said 'hi' first and Jessica ignored him but if you ask Jessica she would tell you the truth! Brad and Jessica were both working in Spiritwood, SK, Brad and his friend and co-worker Jason stopped by the detachment, where Jessica was working, for coffee. Brad passed Jessica in the hallway, BOTH smiled and said 'hi', five months later (yes, they are both just that smooth)
they spoke again and the rest is history!

It was a cool night in April, Jessica had just returned home from work and Brad was building a fire in the backyard in their new fire pit. They bundled up, made a hot toddy and enjoyed their first bonfire. Brad continued walking around, so Jessica asked him to sit down but little did she know he couldn't because he had a ring box in his back pocket! As the fire started to die down Brad knelt down and asked Jessica to marry him!
