Jessica thought she was just going to play golf with her dad one Saturday morning, and Eli thought he was tagging along, learning a new sport with his friend, Tyler. Little did they know, that morning was just the beginning of their world’s colliding. Jessica and her dad, Jorge, Eli and Tyler were coincidentally paired up to play together. By the end of the round Eli had asked for Jessica’s number. They continued to play rounds of golf together. If anyone knows golf, they are at least four hours long… yet still weekend after weekend they both did not know if the other was interested. Jessica was helping host a Halloween church party and invited Eli. The party was small, and if you know Eli, it's not somewhere he’d choose to spend his Friday night. He stayed the entire time and after; the two stayed talking until the parking lot closed. That was the spark they both considered the other might be interested. After one more golf round, they had a mini movie marathon together and talked over all the movies. Needless to say, they hit it off and Eli officially asked Jessica to dinner. After that, they were inseparable. From Kings games, hiking, concerts, night outs, and day adventures, Jessica and Eli have been glued together. They have taken day trips together skiing, Disneyland, and of course, more golfing. They have also taken larger trips to Carmel, Scottsdale, Georgia, and Portugal. Wherever and whenever, they will always choose to be together, then, today, and forever. Growing deeper in love with every moment of everyday, they both know they have met their forever partner and best friend. On their anniversary, December 17, 2023, Eli asked Jessica to marry her privately at the beach. They are so excited to celebrate the most precious day of their lives and to be able to share that with you.

Justine is Jessica's older sister by birth but chosen best friend. Growing up Jessica always looked up to her sister. From sharing a bunk bed as children and talking all night, to flying around the world together, and now only living 10 minutes away from each other, their bond is stronger than ever. Justine loves to travel. She loves the vibrant city life just as much as she does relaxing at the beach as well as experiencing nature from the rain forest to the snow. She enjoys singing and has done it all throughout her life. She is a new mommy to her twins, Sophia and Thaddeus. 

Justine Doggett

Alexandria is Jessica's cousin. They are only two months apart, so growing up and to this day they have been each other's best friends. They experienced every phase of life together from sneaking cookies when they were 3, through those awkward growing up years, to now being in each other's weddings! Alex loves going to the beach and watching the sunset. Balboa in Newport, CA is one of her favorite places and would often visit there with family growing up. She is a new mommy and loves spending all her time with her baby girl, Aria.

Samantha is Jessica's sister-in-law for 8 years now, but has been in the family for 15 years. Immediately Jessica and Samantha became best friends. They are always chatting, trying new health fads, or girly gimmicks together. Jessica and Samantha also love to think they are outdoorsy and fit, and lucky for them, they are about the same level. Sam loves hanging around relaxing lakeside or at the beach. She loves to travel. She is a new mommy of three and enjoying spending all her time with them.

Sydney is Jessica's college friend for 11 years now. There are not many days that go by without them talking. The girls love having their dates together. No matter if it's going out or staying at home, they are always laughing.  From getting all the "tea," to mentally checking in on each other, and ALWAYS showing up for each other, Jessica couldn't ask for a better best friend. Sydney is a big sports girl and one of the Dodgers' #1 fan. She loves to travel and see the world. Sydney lives in Santa Monica and enjoys taking her dog, Gouda, on walks on the beach.

Mikey has been Eli's best friend since elementary school. The guys love doing pretty much anything together-- going to the Kings game, golfing, the pub or just hanging out at home. They know they can count on each other for anything and are more like brothers. Mikey loves to spend quality time with his family and friends. He loves to cook and will make gourmet meals that bring everyone together. He also enjoys playing video games in his spare time.

Michael De La Parra

Since the second grade Eli and Aaron have been inseparable. To this day, they can spend hours on the phone together. Everyone jokes they are each others' first true love, but when you get them together, they are known to stir up trouble in the best way. Eli and Aaron know, that no matter what, they also can count on each other for anything. Five years ago Aaron moved to Georgia, where he was originally born. He enjoys fishing and hunting trips with the boys. 

Aaron Carrillo

Eli became friends with Tyler working at Toppers 8 years ago and immediately the boys hit it off. From sneaking off during break time to now hitting each other up for golf, they have truly grown together. Tyler is the Dodgers #1 fan. He loves watching all sports on every television he can find or, especially, in person. Tyler loves to play golf and is the first person to bring Eli to the sport. Tyler also enjoys playing videogames with his friends. 

Tyler Deans

Jorge is Jessica's older brother. Growing up Jorge would always try to trick and annoy his little sister, but Jessica was a fast learner and gave it right back to him--  though he may forever be the more clever one. Jorge and Jessica have always had a very close bond and through their close relationship, Jorge has gotten to know Eli. Jorge will definitely try to poke fun at Eli, but with Eli's wit, it turns into laughing and the best time. Jorge enjoys art and the outdoors. He also has a black belt in Jiu Jitsu and will sometimes teach classes.

Isla is Jessica’s 5 year old niece. She loves all the princesses as she, of course, is one herself. Isla loves to go to the park and play. She also loves doing arts and crafts and baking. She is finishing up her first year of preschool and will start kindergarten next year.

Vivienne is Jessica’s 2 year old niece and God-daughter. She loves princesses and Minnie Mouse. Vivienne is so smart and loves to play with her big sister, Isla. She loves to walk, play outside, bake, and do arts and crafts too.

Sophia is Jessica's 1 1/2 year old niece. Sophia loves playing with her toys and hanging out with her twin brother, Thaddeus. She is pretty calm and loves to people watch. Her favorite character is Minnie Mouse. She is very curious about the world and loves walking around.

Remiece is Jessica's niece. She will be 1 year old at the end of May. She loves to watch her sisters play around her. She loves hanging on to mommy and making little sounds. Remi is crawling around and starting to pull herself up. We can't wait to see when she'll walk!

Thaddeus is Jessica's 1 1/2 year old nephew and God-son. Thaddeus loves playing with his toys hanging out with his twin sister, Sophia. Thaddeus loves all the attention he can get. He is very curious about the world and loves seeing new things. He also loves to climb and run around. He also loves Mickey Mouse.

Jessica has always been very close to her parents. Theresa and Jorge are not only parents but best friends to each of their children. They live a life by example. They always taught that God and family are number one. Theresa and Jorge enjoy traveling the world together. When they are not spending time with family, they are often hanging out with their friends.

Eli has always had a special bond with each of parents. His core values has stemmed from their teachings. His loving, strong, generous heart he attributes to his parents. Teresa and Mark are strong in their faith and thank God for all their blessings. The couple enjoys vacationing on cruises together. They love spending time with their family as well as staying home with their dogs.

For those flying from out of state, within the United States, please make sure you have a REAL ID as your ID or drivers license. You will need this to fly within the United States. You can get one by updating your diverse license at the DMV. If you are unable for any reason, your passport will work as well. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all!

There is an array of things to do and places to visit in and around Santa Clarita. If you're a bit on the adventurous side there are plenty of easy and intermediate hikes. There is also the famous Six Flags Magic Mountain, if you'd like to try the thrill of roller-coasters. If you enjoy walking, Santa Clarita does host a farmers market every Saturday morning. Main street is a lovely street to walk around to shop and eat. Our mall in town is indoor/outdoor and is nice spot to hang around and eat as well. We also have two theaters, Leammle and Regal. If you don't mind the drive, Santa Monica beach is less than a hour away. It is always nice to walk the beach, lay out, and go on the pier. There is also 3rd street Prominade a block away with many shops and eats. If you really do not mind the drive, Disneyland is about a two hour drive. We hope not only our wedding is exciting and filled with joy, but also your whole stay visiting us.
