Jessica was working as a referee for intramural sports and Tristan played in the indoor soccer league. Tristans bold move was offering to walk Jessica home. Phone numbers were exchanged, yadda yadda, and on January 16, 2009 they became *official.* After supporting each other through bachelors and masters degrees, long distance relationships (state and world wide), a global pandemic, relocation back to Monterey, and 16 years together, theyve collectively decided to participate in the legally and socially recognized union between two people that establishes rights and obligations between them, aka marriage. We are beyond grateful for our family and friends support throughout our relationship and are thankful and excited to share what we hope is a unique and personal wedding experience.

We will be staying at the TollHouse Hotel Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17. As we have few out of state/town guests, we did not get a room block, but wanted our guests to know where we were staying.

We love to send and receive postcards and are planning to create a Guest Book to reflect this. Our hope is for family and friends far and wide to write us a postcard to fill our Guest Book. Please send us postcards from your hometown, favorite destination, etc. and write us a note on the back. Write to us about your time spent at this destination, give us solicited marriage advice, whatever message you'd like! While we regret that our guest list is limited, we would love to invite all family, friends, and general supporters of love to participate in this vision. We have had the amazing opportunity to travel and meet wonderful people who have participated in our love story and we're hopeful to curate a book filled with postcards from all of our people.
