2014 was Kyle's first introduction to the Moreno family when he coached Jonathan in basketball during his first year at Valencia High School. Throughout the season, Jonathan always had something to say after practice. He once stated, "Coach, I'll let you date my sister." Kyle was caught off guard; they just laughed and went about life. Little did they know God's plan for them!

In 2020, Kyle was on Instagram when there was a suggestion for "people you should meet" at the top of the page. Kyle wasted no time and sent Jessica a message (clueless that it was Jonathan's sister); the message was, "Wow, who is this pretty lady?". Jessica had a feeling she knew Kyle but couldn't remember from where. Then she showed Jonathan, who had messaged her. He said, "That is my old basketball coach!". Jonathan wasn't too fond of the idea of Kyle and Jess talking. He even said, "he's going to want to marry you!". So, after a week of Kyle's first message, Jessica finally replied to him.

Their first date was a Hike in Laguna Beach on November 15th, 2020! When Jessica sent her address to Kyle, he connected the dots because he had picked up and dropped off Jonathan many times before! Kyle and Jessica figured out that invisible string that tied them together. After 6 months of going on dates, Jessica and Kyle started their new relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend. They have made some amazing memories over the past two years of dating. As for Jessica's brother Jonathan, he is now very fond of the two of them together!! Then, on December 16th, 2023, after 2 and a half years of dating, Kyle asked Jessica to marry him! She, of course, said yes!!

God's timing is perfect, and He knew precisely when Kyle and Jessica needed to meet so they would fall in love and start their forever journey together.
