Seth McCollom
Seth McCollom - Best Man
A message from Seth! Since Connor and I have been friends for so long, it is very difficult to pick just one memory. Whether it’s trying to build bridges in the woods, offering strangers his bowler hat in exchange for their landscaping tools, waiting on Connor to tie his shoes so we can play down the street, singing silly songs while we play guitar, we always find a way to laugh.
Aaron Morton
Aaron Morton - MAN of Honor
A message from Aaron! There is no way I can pick a favorite memory with Jess. But one of my favorite seasons was when we both lived in Bentonville as young adults. Whether it was late night chats at her apartment, supper at mine, or one of our many coffee dates, it was fun to hang out as friends. What a gift it is to have true friendship with a sibling! In the summer, we often fight about who is more tan. And that is always fun!
Zachary Totaro
Zachary Totaro - Roommate/Tallest Man
A message from Zach!! Since Connor and I were roommates for three years it’s hard to pick just one memory. Some of my favorite times with Connor though have been between the hours of midnight and 3:00am talking about life, praying together, or causing trouble with our late night shenanigans. However, one memory comes to mind as the best and also the worst memory Connor and I share together - I’m sure he would agree. That is getting stranded in the middle of nowhere Kansas for six hours cause his car broke down. Shout out Jessica for the rescue though. The funny thing about this is how Jessica was the one to come and save us back in 2021 way before y’all were together. Crazy
Claira Gresham
Claira Gresham - Maid of Honor
Back in the day I had the most insane trampoline. It was so fun and during the summers Aaron and Jess would come stay with me for several days until we were all sick of each other. Well, Aaron and I were older and much larger than Jess and figured out that if we double jumped her at the same time she would literally fly so high up in the air. (I can’t emphasize enough how tiny she was.) She always wanted to get on the trampoline so bad and would beg us not to “super-jump” her but it would get to a point where we just couldn’t help ourselves. Needless to say we were bullies. It would end with Jess on the back porch stairs, bawling. But I laugh everytime I think about her little arms and legs wiggling mid-air as we shot her 10ft into the sky. She wouldn’t have a sense of humor if it wasn’t for me and Aaron.
David McQueen
David McQueen - Worst man
A message from David! Favorite memory - Collectively sending Jack to the emergency room and then watching Wreck it Ralph 2 on his computer while we waited in the emergency room
Kaylin Strunk
Kaylin Strunk - Bridesmaid
Hello! My favorite memory with Jess was probably when we went to Kansas for a wedding! We had the afternoon to get coffee together with our friends and then all went to the wedding together! It was a gorgeous venue and so we sat outside just catching up! Then on the ride back we had the windows down blasting music!
Gracie Dill
Gracie Dill - Bridesmaid
A message from Gracie! Some of her favorite memories include: -Game nights -Staying up too late that one time eating cookie dough and watching clouds after my breakup. -Catching up on 3+ months of life over coffee during and after our semesters. -Hanging out with Jess and Connor literally all last summer (specifically when we mod podged—or however you spell that) at Jonos house.
Benjamin Strunk
Benjamin Strunk - Groomsman/Older Brotherman
Being siblings really does give you a lot of memories to choose—it’s been difficult to pick! So I’ll share a couple because I just can’t choose. Connor and I are pretty similar (he just copied me), so when it comes to jokes we’re almost always on the same page. When Kaylin and Connor were freshman in highschool, myself a sophomore, people would come up to Connor and ask if he was my brother. Of course he said no and that he didn’t have a brother and whenever that would happen to me, my response would be the same. We convinced many people that we weren’t related, even while we were standing right next to each other. (Some people say we look alike, I don’t see it). On a more serious note, maybe not one specific memory but over the course of high school seeing God’s call on his life to go into ministry was so evident. All his many talents musical, working with students and children, and just being awesome and creative; God was equipping him to be used as a great force for the kingdom. I am so excited to see how that plays out in NC and to see Connor and Jess do ministry together!
Ethan Strunk
Ethan Strunk - Groomsman/Younger Brotherman
It took me a while to write this because I couldn’t think of one particular story. I could tell you about all the first ones that came to my mind when we were really young and we fought a lot, or how almost every morning on the way to school all throughout Highschool he annoyed all of us in the van by making lots of random noises or just non stop talking. The stories that I’ll never forget though are the ones where he stood up for me when I didn’t have the courage to, or when we would stay up late laughing for hours about nothing because we were slap happy, or when we pulled all nighters and half of the time he would end up asleep. Those are the ones that I’ll always remember and be glad I got to have them, I’m also glad I finally got the room to myself lol
