Ashton and Jessica met their 7th grade year of school. Jessica sat down next to Ashton at lunch because that was the only open spot. Ashton then started talking to Jessica. After that 8th grade year of school Ashton ask Jessica out on a date and she kept making excuses. Ashton and Jessica stopped talking for multiple years. During that time, they dated other people, Jessica graduated high school, they both started working. In May of 2022, Jessica got a message from Ashton through Facebook messenger. They started to catch up and Ashton had asked Jessica out on a date, and she did tell him no and a week later she said yes. They went on their first date together May 22nd, 2022. Ashton got her flowers and her favorite candy. They went to Texas Roadhouse and ate dinner together and talked. A week later they went on their second date they had dinner and played skipbo; Jessica had one all three rounds. A week later they decided to go hang out with some friends and had a bonfire. That night Ashton had asked her to be his girlfriend. September, they moved in together and started talking about getting married. By November they found out they were expecting their first baby. The day that their little boy Cassidy was born was the day that they were going to go camping for the weekend. It was going to be their last trip just them for a while. Jessica didn't know that Ashton was going to propose that weekend. Finally, Ashton asked her to marry him in September; he was tired of waiting. They set their date 3 years out to save money to have the wedding they want.
