Our Wedding

Jessica and Jerry first met in Santa Barbara in 2013 while Jessica was a student at UCSB and Jerry was visiting with friends from the Bay Area. After losing touch for several years, they randomly crossed paths three times in San Jose and San Francisco - the first time in the back of a Lyft Line! After the third and final run-in, Jerry asked Jessica out on an omakase date the following weekend. After 6 years, the two were finally in the right place at the right time. After starting to date in 2019, they have shared their love of good food, traveling, and playing pool in dive bars. From their hearts in the Bay Area to their home in San Diego, they are excited to welcome you to join their celebration of love on August, 22nd, 2025. Fun Fact: This was our first photo ever taken together and was at the top of Mission Peak in Fremont - this photo was taken on May 4th, 2019, exactly 5 years before we got engaged! A total coincidence!

Travel In/Out Dates

The ideal travel dates are Thursday, 8/21, to Sunday, 8/23, but we will be happy for you to join us for any amount of time convenient for you! Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4PM on Friday, 8/22. We will be hosting a barbecue the following day on Saturday and plan to hangout the whole day if you can make it!

Definitely order the Al Pastor anything and the Churros for dessert! There are multiple locations within San Diego. Shoutout to Sam Chen for showing us the way when we first moved to SD!

The Taco Stand

Everything is good, especially the roll with the fried leeks. Yum!

Azuki Sushi Lounge

The best authentic Tijuana-style tacos! Jess loves the tripa, cabeza, lengua, and the al pastor is a must-have.

Tacos El Gordo

Our go-to for some quality Nashville-style hot chicken! Their dark meat sandwiches and whole fried leg quarters hit the spot every time.

Main Chick

Beautiful Italian restaurant where we celebrated after our first wedding planning meeting! I got the mushroom pasta and Jerry ordered the Langostino - insane!

Cesarina

An unassuming sushi spot in Mira Mesa that serves up surprisingly high quality fish in tasty combinations for a great price.
