We met in December of 2018 at an office that Christian was working at and the immediate attraction between us was electric. Not long after, we started following each other on social media, and it wasn't until Christian posted a video of himself playing the piano, and Jess commented that he looked silly, that we began talking. Not long after the initial conversation, Christian asked Jess to Waffle House for their first date. A couple weeks later on February 2, 2019, Christian asked Jess to be his girlfriend as the song "Somebody to Love" played in the background.

We moved in together shortly after (we know, controversial...) but we have been inseparable ever since. As we continued our love story, we faced many losses and triumphs along the way. We worked through the pandemic, the world shutting down and moving a few times together. We have also celebrated many wins together. These include graduating college, getting new jobs, and planning our future together.

After 4 years of dating, Christian decided it was time to propose and waited for the perfect opportunity to arise. When Jess graduated college, he thought proposing to her on her graduation day was the perfect idea. So he acquired Jess' grandma's ring, took her to the nearby lake on campus after she walked across that stage, and got down on one knee. Friends and family gathered around as he professed his love for Jess and asked her to be his wife.

We are so enthralled by one another and can't wait to continue or love story.
