In high school both Kyle and Jessica attended Votech; Kyle was there for welding and Jessica for cosmetology. They bumped into each other a few times through mere proximity but nothing really came of it. Later, after high school in 2013, Kyle reached out through an online forum and they decided to go on a date. From that date came many more and spending lots of time together, until eventually, in October of 2013 they began officially dating. They have gone through ups and downs, life changes, career choice changes, etc. But nothing quite sticks out as much as when they found out they were pregnant in 2016 with their son, Koy. They were scared of what this would mean for them, but it turned out to be one of the best things that had ever come out of being together. They have grown stronger in their relationship with each other and stronger in their roles as parents, especially when deciding to have their daughter Kona, in 2018. They have grown up together and become better individuals through their experiences as a couple and are excited to continue through marriage. Both Kyle and Jessica are devoted Christians and believe that God put them together with a purpose. They look forward to having you in one of their favorite places, their church, to witness their special day!

On a cool Friday night in September, Jessica had just gotten off work and had no clue what is store for her evening. Much to her surprise Kyle had a date planned just for the two of them. They hopped in the car and started to drive. Jessica was looking forward to getting some time out with her sweetie but as they continued to drive past every one of their favorite restaurants she knew something was up. They arrived at the parking lot near the Lesner Bridge in Virginia Beach. This was the place Kyle had taken Jessica on that first date back in 2013. Now 6 years later, hand in hand, they sat on the beach, reflecting on their lives and fun times spent together. There was a brief silence, then Kyle stood up off of the blanket and asked Jessica to stand. As he took a knee the tears flowed to her eyes with joy and excitement. After all this time you better believe she said, "Yes!"
